We hired Aimee Miller and her company Designed to Move to help us decorate our new home in Encino. We saw one of the houses she staged and loved it so much that the choice was easy to make. She didn't disappoint. Both Aimee and her staff have been a pleasure to work with. We knew more or less what we wanted but she provided a sense of direction and invaluable expertise. We really appreciated her thinking out of the box since we wanted our house to be very unique. She had great ideas and was able to get truly one of a kind pieces which look stylish and classy without breaking a bank. She was always willing to advise us also on art placement, plants, patio and garden and even met me at the nursery to choose pots and plants we wanted. Using her design discount is a huge extra benefit since otherwise things can get very expensive. Our house is coming together nicely thanks to her knowledge and beautiful sense of style. We selected DTM Interiors to stage our property in Long Beach, CA. The staging was stylish, classic yet still on trend. Their furniture pieces were substantial and upscale and fit the environment beautifully. They even incorporated a baby grand in the over sized living room to create a terrific space. Tasteful accents were placed throughout the house making each room feel very elegant, warm and inviting. The staff was efficient, friendly and always professional. I have hired DTM several times. Aimee and her crew are stellar. Very professional, and with a terrific eye. On each of our listings, we received multiple offers and were in escrow within 2 weeks .
On this particular listing, we achieved the highest per sq ft average for a home this size - in large part due to the beautiful high end furnishings provided by DTM.
I am now using Aimee (DTM) to complete furnishing a condominium in Beverly HIlls for a client. The one thing to say about DTM is I have a feeling of TRUST - very important in this business. They are on budget, meet deadlines, and have included services that can help me get the job done. I look forward to the finished product and can't wait to see another magical result.

DTM (with founder / designer Aimee Miller) is the very best in the business. I have had the good fortune to work with DTM to design / stage several properties for me. These projects have ranged from a 1900+ square foot condo to a 7,700+ square foot home, including homes that I have personally owned. Each of these projects included their own set of very unique challenges and required more than just a typical, (overrated, overpriced, impersonal) “celebrity” staging company (of which there are many in the LA area). Without a doubt, Aimee Miller’s brilliance of design, attention to detail, consummate professionalism, and extremely fair and reasonable pricing model were the reasons these properties sold. When dealing with DTM, clients are not shuffled off to subordinate design assistants or given a “fluffy” generic contract. The Company takes a personal approach to its jobs, and customizes each project by scope, style, and budget. In business and in life, as consumers we all tend to look for the best quality product at the best price. With other staging companies, big “splashy” marketing makes consumers believe they are getting the biggest return. Having been in and around the design business for many years, I have learned through experience that the marketing “hype” associated with other companies does not equate to good service or prices. DTM recently completed a large residential project for me. The founder & designer, Aimee Miller, provided the entire design idea, sourced every material, created custom furniture, pictures, art, window treatments along with every other possible detail a new designer home would ever need down to the fresh flowers and chocolate strawberries and chilled champagne upon completion of this large residential project. Aimee managed the entire renovation project and made my wish list come to life with so much more. She created the perfect dream home for us. Many designers do not listen to their clients and impose their vision, Aimee clearly understands what her client's want and has the unique classic and elegant creativity to deliver a masterpiece on time and on budget. Aimee Miller has been a life saver for our team in many real estate transactions!!! She has staged numerous properties and with a snap of her fingers, turning them into showcase masterpieces. She worked with our Remington seller who we had their condo listed on the market and was not selling. The condo was tired and old and was not receiving any attention. Aimee had the sellers remove all prior furniture and recommended the condo be revived with new paint and flooring. With her dramatic staging and suggested alternations the condo had a total different look that was elegant and fresh. The condo went from having no attention to selling in a short period of time! Her service is most certainly worthwhile and I would recommend her to any seller, even if they doubt whether they need a "facelift" for their property. More...
