What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
If I told you it wouldn't be a secret, seriously there are many facets to taking a good photograph, and like all art forms it is subjective, what may constitute a good photo for one person may not for another. I like attention to detail, this for me always helps to produce a great image. Whether that is detail in the image or about what it is intended for, attention to detail is key.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
There are many questions that need to be asked by both client and freelancer, each project is individual, so I always try to have an open discussion and find out what the client is seeking to achieve and what I can do to help them achieve it, I do not have a prescribed list, it is organic and will grow through communicating with the client.
Describe your creative process.
I am a bit of a perfectionist, and as stated above I am a stickler for detail. But when working to a clients brief I like to bring there vision to life and add my own interpretation of it.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
As much as I can get, but as long as there is an open channel of communication between us, I am happy to get started and build as we go, if the client does not have a clear vision to start with, we can form it through the creative process.
What do you love most about your job?
Creating great work, and bringing enjoyment to the people I work with and for.
What inspired you to start your own business?
As a visual artist and creative I am inspired by many aspects of life, far to many to list here.
Why should our clients choose you?
If they get the right feel, its a two-way street, and it is important there is trust. I am a pretty straight up person, I would hope that a client would know if we click and I would too.
