About

Website Design & Graphic Design

Dreamkatcha was established in 1995 in Berkshire as a small but perfectly formed graphic design and website design company. Our personal yet professional approach cuts out account handlers; whereas our competitors rely on salesmen and middlemen to sell website and graphic design, our approach centres around a direct relationship between the designer and client.

Q&As

It's simple - a website should be easy to navigate, beautiful to look at and fully responsive on every device.

YOUR CURRENT COMPANY WEBSITE

If you already have one, what is the URL for your current website?

What do you like and dislike about your current site?

Tell us about your company history and where you see it headed.

Who are your competitors and how are you different to them?

Have you seen other websites that you like the look of or elements that you like?

Do you use social media, such as Facebook, Twitter, Google+?
NEW WEBSITE LAYOUT

Which of these options fits your requirements?
1.A traditional layout would include a homepage with minimal information on. From there you will have a menu system linking to the other areas of the site.

2. A one page site where each of the sections arr linking to the bottom of the homepage, so the user simply needs to scroll downwards to view the whole site.

3. Or we could go with a parallax scrolling website where the user would need to scroll to the left or right to see the other sections of the site. This is a very unusual design and should only be considered if you have a specific reason to incorporate it.

Sitemap
How many different sections do you require? How many sub sections?

You can look at similar sites to gain an idea of what you may need.

Do you require an on-line store? What payment services do you require?

How many products?

Functionality
Does your site require any special functionality? This could be a booking system, price calculator, members area, forum etc

Will you need a blog?

Which sections of the website would you like to be able to update yourself. i.e text, blogs, images etc
COLOUR SCHEME AND TYPOGRAPHY

Do you have a corporate identity? For example a logo design or a specific font you like to use. If you are just starting your company you may be interested in our Start Up Business Package. This includes everything you will need to represent your company locally and on-line.

If you have any colours that you like or dislike you may want to communicate those near the beginning of the project.
IMAGES AND COPY

Do you posses and have permission to use the imagery to populate your site?

Would you like Dreamkatcha to purchase the imagery for your site.

Do you have examples of images you would like to use but do not own the rights too?

Do you already have all of the copy (text) to populate your site?

Would you like for Dreamkatcha to employ a copywriter to produce the copy for your site?
BUSINESS INTERNET SERVICES

Have you already registered your domain name?

Would you like us to register one for you?

Here is an article that may help you decide which domain name to register. Would you like Dreamkatcha to host your site for you?

These are the benefits of letting us host your website.

Will you need business email addresses? How many email accounts will you require?
PROJECT SPECIFICS

Do you have a deadline for the entire project, or even certain parts of the project?

Do you have all of the information that we will require to complete the project?

If not, what do you have and what do you still need to obtain.

If you have one, what is your budget?

Planning:
Here we will be establishing what the goals of the project are and how time and funds will be distributed to each element. At this stage a deposit of 50% is made and once this has been completed we move on to the raw design and research for the project ahead.

Concept:
At this stage we will provide you with your initial designs for the Logo, the branding elements (which includes fonts, colour schemes and graphics), and also the core designs for your website. Only when these items are signed off do we continue. These will be delivered in the order outlined above.

Creation:
Now that you are happy with the general look and feel of your project, we then progress to the building of your brand guidelines and website. Once this stage has been completed you will be presented with your final product.

Testing:
Once you have looked over all of your finished elements and are happy with the overall look, we will then review all items and test them on relevant media and devices.

We will need all of the copy and images required for the project. If you need help creating the content we can help you with this.
