Taking classes here has been life changing for me, my wife and my two children. We all take classes and look forward to the challenge, fun and personal growth that come from putting in the work. Coach Alex has perfected the balance of pushing us to be out best while giving us a lot of guidance with the skills taught in class. I couldn't recommend this enough. More...

I highly recommend Dragon's Den Panglaban. I've been to a coed class as well as the women's self defense seminar and both experiences left me feeling stronger and ready to defend myself. I discovered I am a bit too nice and need to improve my coordination however I am looking forward to attending more classes as part of my self improvement journey. The coaches are highly trained, amazing and supportive. Awesome experience 10/10 More...

I have been a student at the Den for almost 7yrs, started off as a hobby and fell in love with martial arts. The Den is a great place to learn mixed martial arts *kick boxing, jujitsu, wrestling, strength/cardio training, weapons defense, and more*. Great friendly environment *No Bullying or Intimidation* people of all ages and skill levels, so if if you wanna get in shape, loose weight, hobby, train/become a fighter, whatever your interest or goal is? You get what you put in to your commitment or heart you have!As for *RICHARD McCrae* review/commentI had the privilege in helping "trying" to teach your child and at his age physically/mentally he is not ready! As from one parent to another your child lacks the attention spand, been coddled all his life with no discipline. This is not his fault it's yours as a parent! Your parenting skills is a result of generation *Snow Flake* More...

This has been a long time coming, I first stared training with Guro Alex when I was 16 years old. I was already a chunky teenage football player and with his help back then I started slimming down. I took a few years off, training at other gyms around the city but not to the same effect as I remembered the dragons den having. I still put on weight in my time away and returned to the gym about 6 months ago. 6 months ago when I put my faith back into the Panglaban system I weighed about 340lbs. By listening to Alex and having the discipline to stay In class since my return I am down to 275lbs. I’m excited to see where I might be in another 6 months as progress so far has been superb. The environment in the gym is what you look for in martial arts. No one brings bravado into the room to try and flex on newcomers, the women join the men’s class and vice versa without problem. The Dragons Den promotes a healthy team/family environment between not just he members but their families as well. If you have children you can enrol them in training or simply bring them with you to your class and they are welcome to watch from the side. Simply cannot recommend this gym enough for the environment it fosters and the good people who want to help push you to your goals whether it be weight loss, training for competition or simply enjoying the traditional environment with a modern mixed martial arts flavour. Both of my kids started going to Dragon’s Den this summer and they love it. Alex is a really patient and knowledgeable instructor and has taught them a lot over these past 6 months. I have noticed that they both seem more confident and the smile that comes to their faces when the techniques they have been drilling start working consistently makes me proud of what they have accomplished in such a short period of time. I would recommend anyone who is thinking about putting their kids into martial arts to give Dragon’s Den a try. The pricing is very reasonable, Alex and Regyn are both approachable if you have any questions or concerns. It’s a very family friendly and welcoming environment. More...

Good environment with guided instruction. Kids loved it. No judging, you just have to show up and put in the work - they give you all the keys, the rest is up to you. Lots of people look for a magic bullet in working out but Alex and crew know that it's the attitude you bring that counts for 100% of the results. More...

I signed up hoping I could learn basic self-defence. As a 40 year old, with no martial arts experience, I was apprehensive and didn't expect to last. But the hardest part has been staying away - training at The Den is mentally/physically challenging, but fun at the same time (something I wasn't getting at my gym). More...
