I contacted DPC Plumbing in the early evening of the first day of the Beast from the East which had left me without heating and hot water. Despite having only just arrived home after a day of battling wretched road conditions and emergency heating jobs Dan came straight out to me and had my boiler up and running again by the time he left. However, my boiler was old and had several other potential problems just waiting to happen so I decided it was time to invest in a new one, which Dan subsequently fitted less than a week later, making a very neat job and going the extra yard or two to make sure that this time the installation was done properly. Our boiler broke one evening when there was thick snow outside, and Maria told us that Dan would come straight to us when he had finished his current job, and that it would be within an hour. Sure enough, Dan turned up and we had heating again within about half an hour, which my pregnant wife was extremely chuffed to hear! Dan was friendly and efficient, and rushed off to help the next person in need, after 9pm on a Friday night! Dan was able to offer advice going forward and when we received the invoice for the repair we found it to be far lower than expected. Dan replaced our old boiler with a brand new A-rated boiler. He did all of the work himself and I was most impressed by the care and precision of the installation. I wanted to say a whole hearted Thank you to both Dan (for the work) and Maria (for the communication.) The service was 5 star from start to finish. I would (and have) recommend to anyone.Dan installed a new boiler when we had our kitchen renovated, he also fitted a whole house of new radiators, moved the gas pipes externally and internally and plumbed in some water for our new fridge-freezer.Dan is hardworking, honest and very friendly. Excellent service, was able to turn up less than an hour on a Saturday after calling him due to an urgent issue with my heating as I could smell gas. Thankfully there was no leak and Dan quickly diagnosed this issue and later came back with replacement part and promptly fitted all at a very reasonable cost.I have since used Dan for a gas safety check on a rental property and will certainly by using again. We needed to replace our 30-year-old boiler and wanted the new one to be in a different location with a completely new gas run across the other side of the house. We got four quotations and finished up going with DPC Plumbing & Heating. I would recommend this company to all. I had a new boiler install and a fair bit of pipework.
