i want to thank the ymca staff on peach street the emts and other civilians for saving my life today. i was lifting really light weights and walked over to check on my little sister as i was walking away from her to fill up my water bottle everything went bright and everything went blurry the lights were extremely bright and i couldnt feel my legs anymore my heart rate dropped and so did my blood pressure out of nowhere i was completely fine all day i couldnt breath at all idk how i made it to the front desk to tell them to call 911 thats the last thing i remember before i woke up in chair at the ymca surrounded by over 30 people hooked up to a oxygen machine those people saved my life today and i want to thank them on how fast they were and how much they cared the ambulance took me to Saint Vincent and there they stabilized me im doing much better

Being new to Erie, my husband and I found joining the YMCA here would be helpful in the transition with our boys for we have always enjoyed Y programs and exercise. We have been thoroughly impressed with the amount of programs offered throughout Erie County that interests our family for free or cheap with a family membership. I'm very pleased with our decision to join for the Y helps my husband and I instill the same values into our sons as we show them on a daily basis. Keep up the great work, we are looking forward to preschool, soccer, and hockey this year to name a few! More...
