I have had many experiences at Venue 1223 and the catering side to make a credible review. Both at the Venue and outside to other locations, when Downtown Catering was part of it, the food, service and overall experience was A+. Most recently I used them for my daughters wedding. They went above and beyond, starting with a sit down to go over what they expected and most importantly wanted to know what I expected. There isn’t enough space to write each and every way that DTC made our wedding incredible. From the first moment when my husband, daughter, parents and I were hosted for a tasting to the ease of communication and planning to the execution on our wedding day. Seamless perfection. It has been just over and year and I still cannot count the number of friends who talk about the food at the wedding. We had a small intimate 42 person event and everyone was treated with kit gloves. The family style dinner was perfectly served and everything from our biscuits to short ribs were absolute perfection. What’s more is that we gained new friends. Thank you for making our day so special. We truly couldn’t have done it without you and wouldn’t have wanted to. This was our first time here after living in the area for 2 years. So glad we found this wonderful place. We had the shrimp tacos and we also had the Brooklyn. Both were really, really, good.
