Creative. Versatile. Effective.
High-quality graphic/3D design
Your company's brand ID is more than just a decoration; it’s a way of expressing your organisation’s culture, character and personality. And it can make the difference between success and failure. Whether you’re a multinational or a startup, a properly designed and implemented ID will inspire trust and loyalty among customers, staff, suppliers, partners and investors.
I can help. Over the years, I’ve developed many IDs from scratch, and given many more a facelift to be consistent with today’s social values and expectations. If you’d like to know how I can help you – simply contact me and I’ll be glad to discuss your needs with you.
When a product is under development, it’s just that: under development. Not yet a reality. This can make it hard to begin certain processes – marketing, for example, or attracting investors. To do these things you need to share your vision: show others exactly where you’re going.
That’s where I can help. Using the very latest high-end visualisation software, together with physically or artistically-based rendering techniques, I can make your vision available to others, exact in every detail. Coupled with my other services, such as packaging and collateral design, it means I can offer you the convenience and cost-efficiencies of single-sourcing as you take your product to market.
As an architect, you know the importance of communicating your concepts to your client as early as possible. You need to demonstrate your ideas clearly, comprehensively and precisely.
I can help you do just that. Whether you want a set of stills, an animated walk-through, or even a full virtual reality simulation, I can give you what you need. Highly experienced in working with state-of-the-art visualisation tools, I can bring your project alive; give it the form and colour it needs to make your client see it just as you do.
And if you’re a landscaper, gardener or interior designer, I can help you, too. Whatever the size and nature of your project, I’ll help you share your vision.
What makes a great website?
A great website needs to be visually appealing, simple to navigate, engaging, and easy to maintain.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
It really depends on the project - I think budget is important as costs can escalate very quickly where there is no set limit. That's not to say you have to spend a lot to get a great result. It's all about communication - get that right at the outset and the right solution can be identified and implemented quickly and easily so that you get the best bang for your buck every time. It's good also to identify likes and perhaps more importantly, dislikes as early as possible so that presented ideas don't waste valuable time and money.
Describe your creative process.
Design in all its forms tends to be largely subjective. That's why it's important to have a meaningful project conversation between you, the client and me, the creative, at the outset of any project. In fact, you may have found it a challenge putting your brief into words when posting your job on this site which in its self is testimony to the importance of this process. Communication doesn't stop there however - there needs to be open dialogue from inception to completion. A good designer is a good listener which is why when you speak to me I will usually ask varied questions which I use to build up a mental picture of what is in your mind’s eye. I will then communicate this back to you verbally to make sure we're on the same page.
Once that step is done, I like to go to the drawing board, as it were, to mock up some concepts - usually 3 in completely different directions which we will then use as a visual basis for further development. Of course not everyone knows what they want until they see it, in which case we will discuss a plan which works best for you. Ultimately, my goal is always to exceed expectation both on quality and creativity. I have consistently achieved this using this creative process.
Try me. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
A bit of a broad question I think - it really depends on the job. Let's have a chat and if there is anything I need to know I'll ask you - how's that?
What do you love most about your job?
Everything I do revolves around design. When I have mentored teams in the past, I have told them to eat, breath & sleep design - and I wasn't joking.
I love the creative process (as outlined above) - and I love an excellent result. I don't like compromise - only the best will do.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It's something I have always wanted to do but just never got around to. Recently, though I decided that it was time to move on: to start my own practice. And this is it. It’s a practice which enables me to use my skills to the full and give every client the level of personal attention that elevates a service from merely excellent to absolutely unbeatable.
Why should our clients choose you?
One good reason is that I have 13 years of working in a quality and design-led manufacturing environment behind me, so I have the experience and expertise to help you achieve your goals.
You’ll find that, whatever you need, from corporate identity and collateral design, to product and architectural visualisation, I know how to combine freshness with creativity to deliver genuinely powerful and effective – yet immensely practical - solutions.
