I would recommend Doug as a photographer. He produced some beautiful pictures while also listening to the specifics of what my Brother and I wanted in addition to meeting us at our desired location.
Doug captured the beautiful colours of an autumn day, was open to shooting in a variety of positions and locations and put us both at ease.
The file transfer appeared to go seamlessly however I urge caution and double checking they are saved. The transfer is not open for long. Small prints were included in the price which was a nice gesture however clarification over print borders would have been appreciated.
Overall I thank Doug for the time he spent with us and would recommend his work.

Doug's quote for taking photos at my party was very reasonable and when I looked at his previous work I was amazed. i liked that he was local, and when he turned up, on time, a very friendly, approachable guy. Nothing was too much trouble. When friends and family wanted group shots, he was happy to oblige. The action shots of the children doing sports are fantastic. We never even knew he was there, as he was so discreet taking the photos; almost invisible. The resulting photos are a delight. Please take a look on Doug's website (party on 25 June 2016) lots of natural fun shots and he captured wonderfully a memorable night. It was so nice also not to worry about taking photos ourselves; one less thing to think of. I would most certainly recommend Doug and would not look anywhere else if I needed a photographer again. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Know what you are photographing! The photographer needs to be thinking what you, the client, would enjoy and appreciate in an image. He needs good kit, but if you get the light and the composition right, you can take a good photograph with any working equipment.
With people, especially children, it is best if they forget that you are there: then you get the natural shots where the character shines through.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Why are you considering a photo-shoot? What are sort of images are you hoping for? What is important to you?
What do you love most about your job?
Making people happy: a great set of images is something people keep forever and look at many many times. I make people smile when they receive their images as well as in front of my lens!
What inspired you to start your own business?
I like being independent and able to run things my way.

Photographic commissions
I take photographs, carry out photographic projects and supply sets of prints as required by my clients. Projects can be to supply a single image or print, or to produce books, albums and collections of images to the size and standards required at the time.
I will produce a single framed print and install it at the location or work with the client on larger projects to plan and deliver larger projects exactly to the client's specifications.
