I am so grateful to have found Kara to help us with our rescue puppy. She has helped us immensely with some specific behavioral problems that I had never dealt with before. After working with three other trainers my husband suggested I call the Dog Ranch. I watched two of Kara’s classes and knew she was the one. She took control immediately at our first meeting to evaluate and make recommendations. We joined her group training class and the improvements in his behavior are remarkable. Kara is really great. She has worked with me from a distance, and worked with me and my dog to get better results and behavior than I could have ever expected. I have a very well behaved 1 year old working dog, and I could not have done it without Kara. I am not sure the training is ever “done”, and Kara continually challenges and inspires me to be the best dog owner I can be. Absolutely the best! You cannot go wrong with Kara. Having loads of dog training experience prior to meeting Kara I still find her classes exciting and fresh. Dogs are always happy to see her and her methods are positive and effective. Kara genuinely loves the dogs and often will check in on my girl at day care. Kara gives such amazing advice!! I had a new 2 year old rescue pup who had never lived indoors and had definitely been through some trauma. She chewed on things left and right, barked in her kennel, peed inside, etc. I live far away, but reached out to Kara and she was able to give me advice and techniques via email. Kara is AMAZING! She understands how dogs work on level most people cannot comprehend. She worked with our pups for a week (so far) and the positive changes are amazing. Dog training is not one-size-fits-all and all dogs learn in different ways with different challenges and motivations.
