When the previous plasterer had left me with half the plaster removed in a bedroom , mess everywhere, ruined carpet and then disappeared for over 3 weeks, Mick stepped in and finished the whole job within 2 days, cleared up the mess all at a very reasonable charge. These guys were fantastic, got rid of four small internal walls, removed tiles from several other walls, and a stone fireplace, and plastered everything and a few more things that weren't in the brief, and did it on time and on budget, all the while working around us and the numerous pets in a fairly small house. First rate job rendering two walls in a courtyard in hot weather. Turned up when he said to quote, and then agreed to start the next day, which is unheard of round here! We have just moved and we had 2 ceilings that required skimming because the Artex was horrendous , I contacted Mick asking for a quote and when he could do it ( this was between Christmas & New Year). Mick came round and gave us price and said he would do the job on 29th & 30th, this was brilliant just what we wanted, he done an excellent job very professional I would highly recommend him.Later in the year we will need some more work doing and I will certainly contact him to do the work . I would highly recommend MD Plasterers. Mick and his team were reliable and worked hard continuously throughout the job. I've wanted to convert my garage for sometime but it wasn't until Mick came along that I felt I had the right person to complete the work. He remained in regular contact with building regs to ensure they were happy with the work carried out. I've employed Mick several times over the last 18 months during the renovation of our house. He has boarded and skimmed 5 ceilings, skimmed over another Artexed ceiling, fitted a ceiling in the porch, removed a complete chimney and fireplace, made good the roof, demolished an archway, filled in doorways, extended a partition and skimmed a wall. You might be able to find someone a bit cheaper, but then you might not be as delighted as my wife and I are with the finished result.
