What do you love most about your job?
Partying with our clients! Don't Drop the Mic brings the party - and when our customers are having fun, we are too!
What inspired you to start your own business?
We began Don't Drop the Mic to bring karaoke to the masses. Louisville is a GREAT karaoke town, but we noticed a real need for more, especially in hosted karaoke for private parties (our specialty!) We also noticed many of the karaoke nights around town had ho-hum Karaoke Jockeys - KJs that would just sit there staring at their screens the whole time - and we wanted to bring a more party-atmosphere element to karaoke night in Louisville. At DDTM, we consider our KJs to also be hype-girls and -guys, encouraging and pumping up singers at their gigs.
