Q&As

Strength, agility, coordination, endurance, speed and level of performance are all powered by the foods we eat. What we eat determines how we tackle our daily physical activities, including housework, our job, school, homework, shopping, caring for family and exercise. Eating healthy enables body movements to be executed with ease. A poor diet with unhealthy food choices can make each movement a major effort filled with stress, strain and pain.

Personal training is about establishing a relationship, building trust, working hard, and growing that relationship around specific goals. Creating goals help us develop the “road map” that becomes their health & fitness program. However; great goals and a world-class program don’t mean anything if they aren’t motivated hence motivating and coaching are critical components in my approach.

You've got a few options when it comes to getting the body you've always wanted. To make real changes you'll likely need to adjust your nutritional habits and the way you exercise. Building muscle will help you burn fat as it takes more energy to maintain muscle than it does fat, it will also help give you that toned (not bulky) appearance. In addition, we should never under estimate the importance of lengthening your muscles through stretching.
Ultimately there is no substitute for well planned, focused, consistent hard work. If you want to achieve your dream body, set your goals, and lay out a path of how you plan to achieve them. Put together your plan and understand what it is going to take and how you are going to change your lifestyle. Prepare yourself for possible setbacks and set off to achieve your dream body step by step.

That's an easy one! - RESULTS!! Results equate to health, happiness, satisfaction, confidence, enhanced self-esteem, improved quality of life, energy levels through the roof!!.................I could go on :-)

As the old adage goes; Entrepreneurship is living a few years of your life like most people won’t so that you can spend the rest of your life like most people can’t. It is hard work but with that effort comes the ability to shape my life how I see fit. I am a mother of a (soon to be) 8 year old and being able to do the school run, attend her shows, be able to enjoy a sit down family dinner every evening once my partner is home - 'choose' when I work was the work/life balance that I have worked hard to achieve.

I possess a combination of skills and experience to achieve exceptional results. As an experienced trainer I teach a variety of exercise methods which help prevent my clients getting bored. Also, if a specific exercise does not suit my client I can adapt and modify to one that suits them better yet provide the same physical benefits. Importantly I ensure that necessary adjustments are made to my clients training regime as their fitness level improves to ensure continued progress.

As a professional personal trainer it is my responsibility to make the most of my clients workout 'time', this increases the efficiency of their exercise program and is especially beneficial when there is a limit on the amount of time they have to exercise - Work smarter not harder.
