How long have you been interested in magic?
I have been interested in magic and theatre since I was 12 years old. Deciding to become a professional magician and entertainer took on new levels for me as I began performing regularly in public before I had left school. At sixteen I turned professional and I began a fascination career. Starting out with local work in Hotels and parties, I then began as a support act for stars like Cannon & Ball, Cliff Richard, Freddie Star, Littel & Large. I travelled and worked in America for 10 years, performing in some big shows in Nevada, Missouri & Florida, I have performed for Royalty both in UK & Europe. My interest in magic is as strong now as ever. Magic has the power to delight and surprise, and it can turn the toughest adult into a grinning child in a second.
Take us through your show – what can we expect?
So I am an entertainer as a first principle, I don't use magic to make myself look more smart than the other guy or girl. The magic just happens! sometimes it works and sometimes something else surprising happens, it sometimes surprises me too : )
I have presented Magic on some of the biggest stages and in front of Royalty both in the UK and internationally as well as for special celebrity events. I perform magic for everyone alike!
There is the sense, anything can happen, by invitation I will begin mesmerising your guests, colleagues & friends with card magic and illusions with borrowed objects like rings, coins, watches & mobile phones; I perform some classics of magic too like cups and the balls, rope and rings.
I love performing magic that involves borrowing objects from the audience. I have a large repertoire of modern and classic magic that is sure to delight and baffle in all manner of ways. Often clients reflect, ‘wow, it’s much better than seen on TV’ simply because it’s live, close up & right in front of their eyes.
What do you love most about your job?
I love that fact that I still enjoy it as much after 25 years, I love the fact I am still creating & developing new ideas all the time. I love that it brings joy and wonder to people. I like that it connects us to the wonder in humanity and childlike innocence in people all over the world - when they play along and enter the realms of imagination and suspend belief in what is and isn't possible. It has taught me a lot about psychology and the power of belief
What inspired you to start your own business?
I once heard a saying that said - "If you do what you love to do and you then turn it into your work, then you will never work another day in your life.
