We are delighted with our patio project done by Donewell Contractors. Edward and his crew took pride in their work and paid attention to every detail from the beginning to the end to make beautiful Indian sandstone patio.

I called Ed back as a previous customer. Work completed in one day to a decent standard.

My garden was laid around 30yrs ago so was looking rather sad. The garden path had walked and sunken, the patio needed relaying and extending. We also wanted a raised ornamental area plus a nicer lawn.
I contacted people recommended on my local Facebook site (I live in Thame, Oxfordshire). Quite how some got recommendations I can't imagine as their response to me was poor.
Edward at Done Well responded quickly and came to look at my garden within a few days. He took on board all I wanted plus added his own input which turned out to be useful as he obviously knew things which a layman might not have considered. That was appreciated.
His crew started work sooner than we thought and likewise it didn't take long (perhaps a week and a bit) to complete my small back garden.
As things progressed I decided on changes (as plans and reality sometimes don't match). Edward accommodated these no trouble.
The end result was clean and tidy- really pleased.
I will be asking him back during the summer for some exterior house and garage painting.

Donewell landscaped and re-turfed our garden built a new patio, paths shed and fences. It was very quick and efficient. It’s now looking great for summer.

This job was an extension to an old patio which was laid with slabs that are no longer available. Matching was always going to be a challenge but the result is pretty good and certainly acceptable. I recently engaged Ed Doherty and his team at donewell contractors to carry several garden and home improvement and repair works at our home. These included a drive way re-tarmac, foot paths, french drain, front doorstep, flower bed with border, front lawn retaining wall, garden gate, decking with roof, a patio, soil infill (several tons) to flatten out a steep slope in the garden, fencing and roofing repair. The team also build us two elevated planters with the old deck boards and reused the old concrete slabs for landscaping! I am very pleased with the manner in which the work was carried out and the time and space we were given to think each item through as they were being done.
