I had the most amazing experience at Don Juan Restaurant in West Orange on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. Nathaly is one of the most professional servers I have had in a while and believe me I dine out here and around the country more than the average family. I went there for the first time yesterday. The food was great and the staff were polite. We were there with a baby and they asked if the music was too loud (it wasn't) but the gesture was kind. They kept checking to make sure we were ok and even gave my friend and I a complimentary dessert. The prices were also very reasonable!! I will definitely be coming back!! More...

Happen upon this restaurant by chance while canvassing for the 2017 election, and my crew need to use the restroom. The staff was kind enough to let us. I went to Don Juan's with a group of friends yesterday to celebrate my birthday. Everything was amazing, my guests could not stop raving about the food and drinks. The waiter took extra time with us and even helped coordinate separate checks for the group so we wouldn't have that headache at the end. I have now been to Don Juan Restaurant 4x. Each time ordered something different, red snapper, salmon primodora, garlic shrimp and now steak and onions. All the meals I had the yellow rice and black beans, each dish was flavorful seasoned throughout. Nice cozy atmosphere if you do not want to travel far from home, service and drinks were excellent. This place is awesome. Went there for my dad's birthday. They were very accomodating. We ordered tapas style, sampling most of their appetizers and splitting two entres between 6 people. The food was DELICIOUS and so flavorful so was the pitcher of white sangria. The wait was well worth the food which tastes super fresh.
