It is a well maintained building with so much history on the walls, within the display cases and pictures that I am inclined to come back one day to have a true tour of the building. There is no 5th floor that you can access so you can understand that if you are not a Mason, then certain areas the public will not have access to. But it is still a beautiful building overall. Incredible gelato! Holy cow! I got three pints: the serious chocolate, fior di latte, and strawberry basil sorbetto. SO GOOD! The consistency and flavor were amazing. The wafer cones that are offered with it are special as well. They are much more flavorful then your typical wafer cone and compliment the gelato and sorbetto perfectly. The chocolate was rich and flavorful, the fior di latte tasted like a perfect glass of sweet cold milk and the strawberry basil was a beautiful marriage of sweet and tart with a lovely complexity added from the basil. I still cannot understand how all of that incredible comes out of this small little store front. Flavors are always rich and interesting.
