Steve is phenomenal! I had 2 puppies the same age that were giving me a run for my money and were in need of serious training! ! I was nervous about collars and how to use them for corrections. Steve not only calmed me but showed me proper techniques on his own dog. We had many lengthy conversations when I was unsure and nervous(btw I have an anxiety disorder) and I couldn’t have asked for any more than he gave!! Again PHENOMENAL!! My pups as they got older had issues fighting again I brought Steve in who helped correct these issues. So here I am 7 years later still speaking his praise. I still contact Steve when my pups get into new phases and have new issues arise. Sometimes it’s just a quick call but Steve ALWAYS answers and returns my calls if necessary..... in my opinion 5 stars is not enough to explain what a great trainer and even better person Steve is!!! My Belgian Malinois and I had a great experience with our training. I interviewed many trainers prior to hiring Steve. He was one of the only trainers who didn’t want to take her away from my home for 30 days and return us with a finished dog. My family and I are very hands on and went through all the phases of training as a team both in our home and at the barn where our horses are kept. I wanted to make sure I had a dog who responded well to voice commands and had excellent oboedience. Being around horses could be very dangerous for a dog and I wanted to ensure my Malinois safety.Steve was easy to work with, friendly and professional. He gave my family and myself the essential keys to working with a very high energy dog breed. I have friends and family members who have hired him from watching my dogs positive transformation. Steve did a great job on our belgium malinois and kept him longer than the board and train contract we signed AND did home training and we weren't charged anything extra. He even split up the board and train weeks so we could go on a trip and saved us on utilizing another kennel We've not been able to find another trainer as conscientious as he was. Yes sometimes we had to wait for phone calls, but the training was worth it. More...
