It was our first time leaving our dog Charlie with Mina and his team. The only negative is that we never found this place sooner! !! I am so happy with the love and care that our dog was given. This place is truly a dogs heaven. After 4 days away Charlie came home in great spirits, fully content and happy. Definitely exhausted from all the outside, interactive play. Amazing business with an even more amazing owner! I have taken two of my dogs in to see Mina in order to get helpful advice in regards to behaviour. After having such an amazing turn around with the first dog, Axel, I was sure to bring my newly adopted dog Piper in to see him right away. If you don't want to take my word for how awesome he is with the dogs, you can take my newly adopted dog's reaction to him. Piper can be stand offish of people until she warms up to them. Not with Mina! Immediately upon meeting him, she acted as if they had been long time best friends. The positive energy that he as flows so freely, and it reflects in the happiness of all of the dogs here! It is for this reason I will always recommend Dogs Reformed to anyone that inquires about Daycare, Boarding, or even helpful training advice. I am so thankful to have found Mina and his team at dogs reformed. We were nervous to send our dogs to regular dog hotels because they have their own unique issues. I just picked up my dogs from their second stay and am so happy! Mina is an excellent trainer and loves the animals he works with. My dogs were well taken cared of, loved, and come back to me behaving better. I love that they post pictures so you can see your dog and feel good knowing they’re having a GREAT time (i dont think my dogs wanted to come home). Mina and the staff at Dogs Reformed are amazing! This is the second year we have taken our dogs here while we are on vacation. There are photos are posted almost every day, showing us what a great time our dogs are having during their stay at what we affectionately call “doggy summer camp”. They play with the other dogs, swimming and chasing each other around. Their looks of pure joy, along with the security that our dogs are being cared for in a safe facility, allows us to enjoy our vacation and put our minds at ease. Mina is an amazing person, very friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly caring. You can tell he really loves what he does. Your dogs are guests here, not stuffed into a cold kennel. Mina showed my husband and I around his beautiful location and kennel today. I have nothing but GREAT words to say. Facility was very clean, and bright. Dogs looked happy. The outdoor pool was AWESOME - he even let my 4 goldens go in for a dip. Mina was nothing but friendly and welcoming, and maintained great professionalism. More kennels need to take a look at how Mina runs his and take notes, its all about the dogs, and their needs! Awesome! More...

Our American Bulldog has now spent 2 weekends here. I was quite nervous to leave her the first time because I was told she would be free with other dogs. . but little did I know about Mina and his passion and knowledge of dogs. It was truly amazing to see our dog Charlie out there running and playing with other big dogs when I picked her up. Never would I have thought it to be possible. Thanks again, Mina! She's a changed dog thanks to your skills!

Mina is great with our dogs, but not just because he loves animals. It's because he knows how to lead a pack of a dozen or more at a time—and when you've got someone who's truly capable of leading the pack, you get a lot fewer problems between individual dogs. Today we picked up our big baby Meeka (11monthold Rotti in the newyears2017 pictures) from Dog Reformed. Let me tell you we felt so bad for taking her home she wanted to stay. All my worries of leaving her for the first time want out the back door. You have to see this place for yourself. I have no plans for another weekend away. But I feel like I need to book another weekend getaway for Meeka at Dog Reformed. So she can go back for another fun filled weekend with all the staff and her doggy friends she made. We also started her on there raw dog food diet this weekend. She just loves it never seen her eat so well. Thanks again to all the staff for loving and playing with my Meeka. We took our 9 month old Lab for a visit to look at the facility. The entry area was bright and clean. Mina met us at the door and the first thing he said was take the leash off and let the dog look around. Ralph was intrigued at all the new smells, and we talked with Mina about what we were looking for, while he showed us around. He certainly has all the bases covered! A big heated area inside for the dogs to interact on inclement days. An acre or so of fenced area outside for the nicer days. Mina introduced Ralph to Dory, a cute little poodle cross that had a calming effect for our excited pup. He showed us the boarding area. It was clean, warm, and not just a fenced run. Very pet friendly.

If I could give Dogs Reformed more stars, I would. It was our first time away without our little guy and the team at Dogs Reformed took great care of Einstein! We loved seeing the pics/ videos while we were away. Einstein was happy to see us when we picked him up this morning but he was equally happy hanging out with Mina and his team. Today I brought my 1 year old border collie James to Mina at Dogs reformed. Before todays' visit I had stopped in without making an appointment just to see how far the daycare was from my house. (Although out of respect I should have made an appointment- not my finest moment.) Anyway despite that, he welcomed me during his extremely busy day and showed me all around his beautiful professional well designed set up. While he gave me a tour, he calmly had complete control over all the dogs in his care he is a hands on owner with an impressive ability to be everywhere all at once...completely present and aware. I was already sold at that point...not to mention his confident, calm, kind, and gentle demeanor that let me know my pup would be changed by him.

Today he dedicated all his efforts to change my dog from unruly and disobedient to a calm attentive dog that waits to be instructed.

Before visiting for the day James pulled constantly and was distracted by any smell or sound and urge to chew whatever he could find. He also was antisocial around other dogs not letting them close. Today when I picked him up he was calm around all the other dogs and walked without effort on his lead. He walked by my side with only small corrections. He listened immediately when asked to sit or wait. Another dog was around us as Mina showed me how to walk him and even with the distractions he looked up to me for instruction.

I can't describe the relief I have from a reformed dog that I now believe I can keep. Before bringing him in I thought he wasn't a family dog I was honestly worried that we couldn't keep him. He was disrespectful and increasingly aggressive. Now I am confident he is on his way to being the most cherished loving respectful dog anyone could ask for. With working full time he was exhausting. Now I feel he will not only be co operative but a pleasure at the end of a long day.

Thanks Mina and staff..we will definately be back ..James has found his pack and I feel so have I. I feel I have gained not only a trainer but a friend. More...

Mina and the staff at Dogs Reformed are amazing. Our family started looking for a new puppy a couple of weeks ago. We lost our female chocolate lab in July and our male chocolate lab had been lost since. We also felt a void in the house in her absence. We knew we wanted a mastiff and through a lot of research and looking at a number of different types of mastiffs we ended up speaking with Mina after seeing his ad. He was amazing, he asked us the questions and interviewed us before we interviewed him. We told what we are looking for and he had the right match. We went there this weekend to see the girl he spoke about and we fell in love. We are now proud owners of Lavender, a four month old African Boerboel. She is sweet, fun and brilliant. I have owned many different breeds of dogs from Lhasa apso, doberman and pit bulls. This breed is brilliant. She has been in our home for a couple of days and she is great with our male lab and she already is learning her basic commands without any issues. I booked a 2 week trip and had nobody to take care of Dixon, my rambunctious 1year old olde English bulldog/lab mix. After a lengthy web search, and multiple phone calls, I found dogs reformed. Mina was very professional, knowledgeable and patient with me (I was a little anxious, I’ve never left Dixon ), so I was very happy when he accepted to take him in, especially because Dixon is such a social butterfly and I would feel guilty leaving him somewhere where he’s in a fenced in area for most of the day...alone.

Throughout my vacation I had access to Wifi, and saw the albums posted to Facebook, and from the first picture I saw of Dixon playing and running, I knew he was having fun, he definitely was in fabulous, caring hands (Mina is a dog whisperer). The best part was when he told me that Dixon loved him...No doubt in my mind I will be bringing him back for daycare.

Also, I have now switched Dixon to Mina’s raw food and I see an instant change in him... I would recommend dogs reformed to everyone!

Ps. He’s home now, and is exhausted from his vacation too... he lazed around for at least a day! I’ve never seen him so calm! More...

10� are not enough for this place! Wow great owner great staff�

Where does one start, when having so much positive feedback for a company and the owner. Id like to let you all know that this is truly the best place to bring your dogs! I recently got 2 German Shepherd dogs and started researching all the different place available for doggie training and after meeting with different places and company owners and being discouraged cause I couldn’t find the right fit for my family and dogs, a lady while at Highland Meet Packers in Stoney Creek turned to me after over hearing my conversations with the cashier, pulled out a business card and said you “must” go and see this place! So here I am.....I have nothing but FANTASTIC stuff to say about this place and the owner. I met him for a consultation without the dogs and he broke it all done for me so I could understand what my dogs are about and what they need and what he will be doing with them. Warm welcoming staff and owner every morning, High energy and you can see in his eyes that he truly loves doing what he does!
Thank you so so so much for taking my dogs into your place!

I sent my Stella to Mina for 5 days and she was not use to being around other dogs. She was a very hyper dog. I wasn’t even able to leave her home alone without her being in a cage due to chewing and accidents. When I came home after 5 days with Mina she was a completely different dog! She has been so much more calm and has not even been near a cage since ! I’m so thankful for finding out about dogs reformed and would recommend it to any dog owner ! We looked long and hard for a good place for our dog to go when we went away for a week. After a very bad experience last time, we wanted to get it perfect this time.

I can say that Dogs reformed got it perfect! I was not worried 1 bit well I was gone. She was in good hands.

The rooms are quite large and very nice compared to all other. I can say that Dogs reformed was the ONLY place that kept up to what they say. I checked 10 places. Dogs reformed was the only place that actually had their dogs running around and playing outside when I came. All the other places said they dogs played outside all day but when I came around 10:30am no one else had dogs out. They were still in Kennel. I came to Dogs reformed 3 times, every time the dogs were running outside having fun!

If anyone is looking for dog day care or a place to board your dog. Don't look anywhere else and don't hesitate. This is the place to take your dog. HAZEL loved it, and we loved viewing her photos from our vacation. We got to see each day how she was doing and how much fun she was having. More...

I was referred to Dogs Reformed by my dog trainer/walker. Since she suggested it, I had no hesitation to just book it for 10 days. I booked the larger suite as I have 2 dogs. Mina met us at the front door as soon as we arrived and took an hour to go through the place inside and out and answer any questions! We were amazed at the personal touch and could tell he is very passionate about his business.
While away, there were hundreds of photos uploaded to this FB page and we could see our dogs were having a great time. We were afraid at least one of them would not want to come home! �. Mina has been extremely kind, informative and we will definitely, most definitely take our dogs back whenever we go on vacation! When I had a family member cancel on me for sitting my reactive, anxious rescue dog Taiga, I was stuck! No boarding place would take him due to his dog reactivity. I had to be out of the country for a week, so I was so worried about finding a place that would watch him. Mina at Dogs Reformed went above and beyond with my last-minute boarding request- he made the time to meet me and my dog beforehand to assess him, and promised me he would make things work, even scheduling drop-off around my flight time despite an incredibly busy schedule. I got photo updates while I was away and Mina and his staff worked with Taiga so that when I picked him up, he was a much calmer, more submissive dog. Mina & Staff are amazing - you can feel confident that your dog is in the best hands when it is at Dogs Reformed!! The raw dog food they sell is amazing. My rescue dog was skin and bones when I got him, I started him on kibble but he was very picky with it didn't enjoy it and wouldn't eat it all - this was a problem because he was so under weight. Decided to try Dogs Reformed for their Raw food & it was the best decision I ever made. (prices are great btw) My dog LOVES the food - He eats every last piece. He now has this craziness he gets when it is feeding time, now he actually enjoys his meals! BUT the real benefit of this food was what it did for my dog - in such a short amount of time he began to put on weight/muscle and look healthy.
