I found Marcelle on google as I was at the end of my tether with our Labradoodle who was overexcited and pulling excessively on lead and not always coming back when recalled. Within one session she walked perfectly on lead, we changed her diet she is now lovely and calm and her recall is so much better. I can't recommend Marcelle enough, we asked her to help us with Grace our one year old Lurcher who was showing aggression towards other dogs, cars, bikes and people, she was out of control, lunging and barking at whatever we passed, we had come to a point where walking Grace was not enjoyable at all. Marcelle was absolutely fantastic in helping me understand how to change my dogs behaviour and of course mine!I met on a couple of occasions with Marcelle (after a lengthy phone call) and I now have every bit of confidence taking my dog out again and am far more relaxed than before which immediately past onto my dog. He is less anxious and more content when anyone comes to the door and when out on walks. I would highly recommend Marcelle if you want to enjoy the company or have control over your dog and to understand the psychology that may come with certain behaviour. Marcelle, Aka the dog Whisper has changed our two 9 year old dachshunds bad behaviours in only a few weeks.By giving us the knowledge and guidance, we have be able to change their distructive behaviours so that they no longer cause caous in the park or at home, enjoy their space and respect ours and have a healthier diet which means they are more stimulated mentally. We took our Romanian rescue Ronni to 8 x 1 hour training sessions last year, but she got very distracted around other dogs in the same space. After reading the positive reviews for The Dog Whisperer we booked with Marcelle to assess Ronni's behavior and go through the areas we wanted to work on. After just a couple of hours with Marcelle we saw a noticeable improvement in some of the areas and the advice and information we received was extremely valuable. We felt that no question was too trivial and Marcelle spent time making sure that we were happy with what we had to do in the coming weeks to ensure we made as much progress as possible. A few weeks on and the change we have seen in Ronni is nothing short of amazing. Marcelle has already made such an amazing difference to walks with our cockapoo. After just one session we could walk without her pulling or being reluctant to go out. Previously she would react negatively to other dogs by growling and barking or freeze when she saw a dog in the distance. Now she will confidently walk straight past other dogs. We are still working on some separation anxiety but Harper is now sleeping downstairs through the night without crying or howling. Well where do I start... First I can't thank this lady enough... My American bulldog was aggressive and overpowering at home and causing a lot of unhappiness, which was not out intention, Marcelle has put this behind us and shown we can have our house back. I consider myself an experienced dog owner having owned dogs all my life and been involved with agility and gun dog training. However when my four year old fox red lab unexpectedly went for a terrier on the beach I was devastated because it was so out of character and I didn’t know how to approach the problem.Marcelle was recommended and she quickly got to the root of the problem which turned out to be a damaged cruciate causing pain that changed her temperament. She is now being treated and I am implementing the changes Marcelle has suggested. It may take a while but we will get through this with Marcelle’s help. We are so pleased with the service we have received. Almost instantly we noticed a huge change in our beloved dog Pach. We were shown how to put in boundaries and straight away it was as if he had learnt manners! The training has been fantastic it has taught us ways to tire him out mentally which has been a great help. It is difficult to find anything new to add to Marcelle's already glowing reviews, they are certainly deserved. Marcelle is working with us and our young flat coat retriever, emphasis on the us. I had reached the point where walks with my lovely boy brought no pleasure, I was stressed, and terrified of any interaction with other dogs and their owners. With Marcelles help we are making rapid improvements, I no longer feel any need to avoid other dogs on lead walks and am perfectly confident that my boy can now calmly walk past without any interest, that came after just one session. We received a couple of personal recommendations for Marcelle when we were looking for help with Milo our 5 year old rehomed Westie who we've been guardians to for 5 months. He displayed on lead aggression when out on walks, resource guarding, frequent barking at the TV and a love/hate relationship with the Postman. Marcelle came to our house and met Milo and we went out for a walk and assessment. From this initial walk Marcelle was able to diagnose Milo's behaviour and show us the strategy and positive reinforcment techniques to overcome the issues and where our own behaviours and anxieties were influencing Milo. The subsequent follow up walks with Marcelle practised and expanded the training and allowed Milo to interact with other dogs in a friendly an controlled environment. We have two young energetic dogs who had some behavioural issues we were not able to sort out. One is a collie who tries to bolt out of the door and has lost the recall when off the lead. The other one is a German Shepard cross who tries to dig his way through the wall when someone knocks the front door. When the collie run across a busy road, it was definitely time to seek help to get these two maniacs under control. Certainly one of the best decisions we’ve ever made! Marcelle has been absolutely fantastic and very supportive from the start. Not only has she trained the dogs but also us! By sticking with the new rules /ways of training them we started to see results pretty quickly. The dogs don’t try to run out or clawing the wall anymore but stay away from the door.Collie’s recall has improved massively with the training Marcelle taught us. Marcelle is absolutely brilliant, not only has she helped my dog but she has also helped me massively! We were at the point at thinking our year old Red Fox Lab wasn't right for us and we weren't right for her. Walking her on a lead was impossible; pulling, jumping up at people and scrabbling for other dogs whilst we were out meant we had stopped socialising her. We really were at breaking point, we had been to puppy training, searched endlessly online for new training ideas, why were none of training and tactics working! I found Marcelle online and after reading through her website, I gave her a call. Within 2 hrs of Marcelle arriving, we were walking our pup on her lead, going past people and dogs without a care in the world. I have learnt a lot from the Dog Whisperer (Poole & B'mth).I needed to change to make my dog, a German Shorthaired Pointer listen and he is now bounding back to me when I call him. Marcelle is amazing, we were at our wits end with a 1 year old Dogue de Bordeaux who was ruling the roost, using his teeth to get his own way and a lot of lead pulling. We first saw Marcelle just before Xmas and what she has taught us has helped us so much, our dog is happier on his new diet, he goes in his crate voluntarily and since we also did lead training with Marcelle our walks are stress free now too. We were still having trouble with jumping up at the front door, Marcelle came back to see and helped sort that out too. I discovered Marcelle just 2 weeks ago and I could not be more pleased that I did. I have a young Cavapoo puppy, very sweet, of course, but becoming increasingly clingy and anxious, barking at other dogs on a walk and unwilling to let me out of her sight. I had not spent the time on her with initial socialisation etc and the efforts that I had made seemed to have made the situation worse. We are now going back to square one, with Marcelle's help. I am learning what aspects of my behaviour around the puppy are not helpful. It is early days but I can already see a difference. We contacted Marcelle after having issues with our 17 month male cockapoo. He had become growly and snappy also I was having problems walking him on lead in as much as if he didn't want to he wouldn't move.
