It's with a heavy heart that I finally write this review. We finished training in June in Milwaukee and were so unhappy with our results. We were asked to review the business and sent this link. We paid for the advanced 8 pack of lessons. Before committing to the pack, we asked what if our dog doesn't take to the lessons at the pace we're going. We know she's stubborn and that's why we needed help training her. The person responded that that's never happened in her time working at Off Leash K9. Well, it happened to us and it can happen to you too. We practiced with our dog daily but our trainer told us she wasn't ready to do heel (a basic command). We expressed concerns at lessons 3 and 4 with her progress and the trainer told us to keep practicing. Come lesson 7, we finally started trying advanced commands, but we did not get to select the commands like how it was advertised to us before we signed up. We were told we'd get 4 lessons of advanced commands but they only gave us 2. Here we are months later and my dog only has a solid sit. Every other command is shaky at best. In addition to all this, our trainer was late to three sessions and ended two sessions early. We also had a lesson outside in the rain. One lesson was cancelled day of and couldn't be rescheduled for 6 weeks. We called to see what we could do about our terrible experience and they offered us two free lessons. I simply don't want to be with the same trainer again but her training times are the only ones that work with my schedule. We were told that they had day and night availability on week days and weekends. What they mean is they have night availability week days and day availability on weekends. We were also told to expect a 4-6 week delay in scheduling lessons but it was actually 8 weeks. We feel so lied to and misled by this company. We saved all our texts and emails about this situation, wishing a manager would contact us about a partial refund. It was such an awful experience. I recommend you go anywhere else but here. More...

Norka helped train my Pomeranian Sheltie mix Spencer to be the PERFECT companion. I travel all the time so it was important that he felt comfortable in novel situations. She took him on field trips, etc. to get him used to the big scary world and now he’s a champ who isn’t afraid of anything!! His heel is perfect, his stay is perfect, HE IS PERFECT. Off Leash K9 Training Milwaukee was the best decision I ever made for my dog and myself. Norka "the real dog whisperer" I like to call her changed my life forever. My dog Bubba was not able to be around anyone with his behavioral issues and insane leash pulling on walks. The transformation she made in just 2 days was breathtaking. Off Leash K9 training has by far been the best training decision I’ve ever made for my dog! I have a 1.5 year old Australian Shepherd who has been through multiple group training courses with little significant progress. Only on week three with my great Dane Jax and he is like a new dog!! So happy I decided to spend the time and money on Norka! Having a 130lb dog pull me on walks and react to any dog he saw was a night mare but after only three weeks his reactions are way less and there is no pulling!! So happy! More...

My husband Cary and I would like to thank Norka for teaching us how to effectively train our Rocky.
He responds so much better to commands, walking him is now a pleasure instead of a struggle and we don’t have to worry about him running into the street.
Norka is an excellent instructor, she was able to work with our schedule and she really knows her stuff!
We highly recommend her!

Norka did an amazing job with our 2 yr old shih tzu!! The difference made during the 2wk board and train program was amazing!
!!
Bandi would not listen when called, was aggressive toward other dogs and very possessive with me and even nipped at my daughters when they tried to come near me.
She now walks beautifully off leash, listens when called, knows sit, place and off. She is even better with my kids! Truly amazing!
It is obvious Norka loves the dogs she trains and spent a lot of time with us and our kids so we know how to continue our pup’s training.
I highly recommend this program and Norka!!

I started working with Norka to train my pit/boxer mix, Layla who was very reactive to other dogs and people and also very anxious. I have tried many other training facilities, but none of them seemed to be able to help with her reactivity. Within a week of starting training the difference was night and day. Layla has much more confidence, she listens to me and is all around a much more pleasant dog. I love that I can bring her places with me now and don’t have to worry about how she will react or what triggers we may run into. Milwaukee: Off Leash K9 Training really was the best decision we ever made for our dog!
Jax was unpredictable on the leash and always pulled and was distracted by everything going on around him.
He would lunge at other dogs and people. Trying to get his attention to listen to commands while on walks was impossible.After his 2 week board and train session he was an off leash pro!
Norka is very passionate about her job and she cares for every dog like they are her own. She always keeps you up to date with photos and videos because we all know how difficult it is to be away from our little fluff balls.
If you are thinking about using any other dog trainer please rethink your decision and go with the best Milwaukee has to offer: Milwaukee: Off Leash K9 Training!

I had the pleasure of having Norka for my Rottweiler’s trainer and she is absolutely wonderful. I was sent a video of my dog walking on a leash the second day he was with her and he was listening and not chasing cars or people. Everything she does is very professional. My dog ended up with some hot spots and she took care of him like he was her own. I would recommend Norka to anybody, if she could handle my crazy dog and he now is very well trained then she can handle any dog. It’s worth every penny and what else is great about this company is they are your very own trainer for life.
