Dog Tails and Trails offer a friendly, professional dog walking service. We are fully insured, DBS checked and are canine first aid certificated. Our group walks are a great way for your dog to make friends, play, swim and socialise. We also offer puppy and cat visits.

Dog Tails and Trails go above and beyond, they work very hard, They are always on time and very reliable and trustworthy. At first i was nervous about letting my dog go for walks without me but with such a busy work life i knew i had to find a company i could trust, i found Dog tails and Trails and became at ease once meeting vanessa, straight away i could tell she knew what she was doing and how much she loves the dogs, she put my mind at ease staight away and i knew my dog was in safe hands . My dog enjoys all his walks and always comes home very happy. The best thing is seeing the pictures of his new adventures he's been on. Just one of the great extras Dog Tails and Trails provide. Can’t rate the team here high enough. They have been looking after our mad dog since he was a puppy, starting with puppy visits and then with daily walks. Our cockapoo Wilma has been going to Dog Tails and Trails for over a year and she absolutely loves it. She's so excited when they pick her up (we don't get that reaction! ). As well as being professional they also completely love our dog and we couldn't recommend them enough. They are more than a dog walking service. What do you love most about your job?
The best thing about our job is that we get to spend every day with all our wonderful pups going to different destinations daily. You will often find us at Queen Elizabeth Country Park, 100 Acres & Staunton Forest (& many more dog friendly places), it's great taking home happy relaxed dogs at the end of their walks.
What inspired you to start your own business?
After shadowing a friend & helping out regularly it made me realise that, having gained so much experience & knowledge, I was wasting my new skills sat behind a desk. So I did my pet care diploma & started up on my own. I was a little apprehensive at first as it was a huge change but I am so very glad that DTT is up & running and haven't ever looked back - it's truly the best job in the world! Throughout the years since starting the business our clients have been so happy with our services, they’ve told their family & friends about DTT & the business has had to grow to accommodate extra paw footfall.

We believe that dogs are not just pets but are family members & should be treated as such. We always treat our clients dogs like our own & we are fully aware of how privileged we are to be able to spend quality time with them whilst their owners are not with them. Dog safety & welfare are paramount at DTT therefore the dogs are always grouped appropriately and their needs put first.
