We were very excited that we got to bring home Chisuim today. We searched for a trainer for about 3 weeks before we decided to meet with J. R and pretty much decided on the spot after about 15 minutes with him to leave Chisuim with him that day. He trained Chisuim basic Obedience and we are very happy with the outcome. I want to thank J.R. for the superlative way in which he helped our dog, Murtaugh, and us, as Murtaugh's family. It took me about 6 weeks of looking and interviewing to find J. R. and Green Timber Training and Kennels. Having had experience with a wonderful trainer in the Tulsa, Oklahoma area (with our dog, Shep), I knew what I wanted to see in the person who would help Murtaugh further his obedience and behavioral training. From the first conversation I had with J.R., I knew he was who I wanted to help Murtaugh. I knew I wanted a person who was knowledgeable, adept in their training ability, patient, as well as proficient in seeing the unique peculiarities our dog needed to work on. I wanted someone who was gifted, and who had that "sixth sense" about a dog's particular bents. J.R. immediately picked up on several things Murtaugh needed help with, and was able to begin teaching us, Murtaugh's family, how to help Murtaugh as well. "Being there" to work with your dog is an important key to any dog's success, and I was able to visit Murtaugh and J.R. three times a week (all the way from Kingwood) for the duration of Murtaugh's stay. Every time I came to work with Muraugh, I saw improvement upon improvement, and I was exceedingly pleased with how Murtaugh's (and my) confidence seemed to blossom under J.R.'s care. Truly thankful to have found the Dog Daze family. This is my first experience taking my puppy to daycare and they have gone above and beyond all my expectations. My ladybug received her first report card last week. Being able to see her progress makes me a very happy mama (I really enjoyed this). Amazing owners that genuinely care about your dogs like they are their own. Great place, safe place . If you are debating taking your dogs to day care , don’t . We just started at dog daze a few weeks ago. We take our two dogs Murphy and Winnie about once a week to socialize and have fun. Kathy and her family are so sweet and loving to the dogs and made us feel so comfortable when we were nervous to leave them. But it is easy to see how much my dogs love it there! The best part is seeing pictures on facebook of how much they are just loving life while they are there and getting to see them playing with all the dogs. Also having my crazy high energy dogs pass out after being home for five minutes is definitely proof in the pudding for us! More...

My girlfriend and I have busy work schedules. After we got a dog we had a hard time deciding on what to do with him when we are working. My girlfriend found Dog Daze and filled me in about how much she liked them. I was impressed how thorough the initial intake was. It helped knowing our dog would be in a safe clean environment. They even go as far to help with mental stimulation in addition to physical exercise. They have taught our dog tricks and commands to help us at home. My boyfriend and I struggled with finding a place for our dog during the work week. Dog daze was the perfect placement for our puppy! We love dog daze for multiple reasons. We feel so comfortable dropping our puppy off when we are working. Staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, caring, and thorough. We have been so happy dropping our puppy off, he actually waits by the door after we tell him he’s going to daycare!! JR with Green Timber Training is so honest and trustworthy. He won't make any promises he cant keep and is straight forward with you. No gimmicks or tricks! Ruger has been taking private lessons with JR for 4 weeks now and is already doing so well. He knows here, heel, sit (stay) and he walks awesome on a leash! If you're looking for an AWESOME Dog Trainer and a genuine passionate person who absolutely loves dogs, JR with Green Timber Training & Kennels, LLC, is your Trainer. In early October we hired JR to help us socialize and de-sensitize both of our dogs, Hope (a 1.5 yr old female German Shepard) and Skipper (a 7 yr old male Terrier & Chihuahua mix). Skipper had been living with us for the last 7 years and Hope had just joined us (from being in another home) in September 2016. In the beginning neither got along with each other, both very dominant and wanted to "fight" to the end. It was stressful and created heartache. Our goal was that our home would be the last "Forever Home for Hope!." We all know it takes a lot of love, patience and effort to make this happen. If it was not for JR, his genuine compassion for dogs, and learning techniques we would not have made the progress we have made to date. For this we are forever grateful for the training JR has done. He's been a blessing to not only Hope and Skipper, but to our entire family. JR is amazing with dogs! Keep up the AWESOME training and work you do every day to make a difference in a dogs life!

I'm so happy I found J.R. and Diane! They took in my 3 month old puppy, Nala, who would cry and howl in her crate, have accidents all over the place, and bully my other dog and turned her into one of the sweetest, well mannered little dogs! In only two weeks, J.R. was able to work on all of those things, plus he taught her to sit, down, and roll-over! To say I'm impressed would be an understatement! They even welcomed me to come visit during her training where J.R. sat with me for almost two hours answering my endless questions and teaching me techniques to help further her training. So glad we have taken our 10 month old lab mix, Bane to JR at Green Timber! JR is very knowledgeable and trustworthy. He encourages you to be involved throughout the program so you and your pet are happy campers after training. A plus was also being able to spend time with Bane! JR was also very informative and readily available for any questions we had. He kept us updated with Bane’s progress each week and we were able to see how much Bane had learned on our visits. He now follows all the basic commands. JR genuinely has a passion for raising well behaved dogs through the confidence of his obedience program.
