We signed up for the "Amazing Dog" training program. We have only had a few sessions so far, but our dog Winter has already made an unbelievable amount of progress. He is now able to go for a walk without incessantly barking at other dogs or pedestrians, control himself better and refrain from jumping up on people when he is excited, and today, he learned how to go up and down the stairs which he had previously REFUSED to do. We went from having to literally pick him up and carry him up and down the stairs, to now being able to just say "let's go!" and have him follow us gladly and willingly. I cannot say enough great things about this training program. Dan is super friendly, professional and really knows how to tailor the training to your dog's individual needs. We also love the fact that he is a local business owner and a veteran. We highly recommend Dog Boss to anyone who is looking to improve their quality of life with their canine family member. More...

I adopted my dog from the streets of Guatemala, where he learned how to be aggressive and dominant towards men and some other dogs. I felt helpless for a while. After working with Dan for less than 6 months, I can honestly say that I feel like I own a new and improved pup. I finally feel confident to have friends over my house, and to bring my dog on hikes and out in public. Thanks to Dan, I feel like my dog can enjoy his life to the fullest. We purchased the Dream Dog package this fall and couldn’t be happier with our decision. Dan is extremely knowledgeable and so easy to work with. He’s been able to work around our busy schedules and will stop by for quick one-on-one training sessions with our dog while we’re at work. Dan has also watched our dog as part of a board and train package when we’ve gone away on vacation. After just a handful of sessions, we saw a marked improvement in our dogs behavior. Dan's training has helped our Bella become more confident in herself .
Bella was a rescue from South Carolina and was extremely nervous when we would take her out on walks .
She would also be a bit aggressive when walking by people and other dogs .
It's been almost a year now and she walks by people and other dogs with her head held high and will pretty much ignore them .
I highly recommend Dan to anyone who is searching for an amazing trainer !!!!!

I am a professional dog trainer that understands the training needs of dog owners. I have a wide knowledge of dog behaviors and how to modify them. I believe in real world dog training. This means putting your dog in everyday situations you might encounter with them based on you and your families life style. I like to incorporate the whole family into the training process so that everything stays consistent with your dog providing the structure that your dog needs and craves within your household.
