Debbie is not only knowledgeable about animals and their behavior but she is also very caring and loving towards them. She is patient and kind. Debbie is a wonderful animal trainer. Her work with dogs is especially helpful because so many of us have little behavioral issues that need to be fixed. And she is up to the job. She is calm, fast, supportive and even affordable. My dogs both love her and listen to her. I can’t say enough about how fantastic she is. Our primary focus with my young dog is on recall, because I don't want her getting hit by a car. We are working with an e-collar, with a 'tone' that can be used in place of a low shock. Debbie is an expert and our results have been fabulous. Know-how is everything when working with shock collars -- which is why I'M NOT DOING IT MYSELF. If you are thinking about dog training, now is the time. Because she is a new biz this year, her rates are low ($40/hr) but they won’t be forever. I really recommend her unreservedly. I've worked with Debbie a handful of times. I have a husky, possibly pit, shepard, lab Mix. She's a mutt with a ton of energy. We got her a treadmil, which has helped to release some of the energy. Debbie also introduced me to different tools to use for our walks, because my ball of energy is a puller. We are now working on recall and she is improving Everytime! I started working with Debbie a few weeks ago to help me with my rescued pack. Two Pitties and a bulldog. As you can imagine we would have some very prickly moments with this group especially the female pittie Roxy who decided she was the boss of all. Debbie helped me immedietly show Roxy that she was not the boss but I was. Since I started working with Debbie we have had no aggression and all the dogs are listening really well. I also have one of the pits, Buster that is very nervous and anxious about everything and he was really hard to walk because of his fears. Debbie worked with me to help Buster gain confidence and we found a great halter for him that made it very easy to walk him and for him to feel confident. I could not recommend Debbie more. She has a great way with the dogs and can show you how to get your dogs to look to you for guidance and create a situation where you can manage easily any situation. Debbie was recommended to me shortly after rescuing my 2nd Pittie (Scout) from the shelter in October 2017. This newest member of our family had seen better days. Scars that you could see and many more that you couldn't. I've had dogs my whole life. All but one of them were rescues. Some with challenging beginnings. So I'm comfortable with dogs in all kinds of conditions. After the first week of bringing Scout home, I knew I needed help. He wouldn't eat, drink, go outside. He cowered in his kennel and wouldn't leave. He needed to take meds because his teeth, ears and skin were in bad shape. The clinic helped administer the meds but the rest was up to us. A friend gave me Debbie's information and told me of the wonderful work she had done with their two dogs. The minute Debbie walked into our house, both our pitties cuddled up to her. We couldn't believe Scout's reaction. At this point - Scout wouldn't come near anyone. Before he would eat or drink, we had to be out of sight. We left the backdoor open and would leave the room before he would go outside into our fenced in yard.

Within 30 minutes of meeting Debbie, she created an environment that encouraged Scout come and sniff my face. This is the closest proximity Scout ever allowed. Since then, Scout gets better every day. He is a completely different dog than he was 5 months ago. The journey isn't over, we still have work to do. With Debbie's guidance, we know Scout can learn to be a happy, trusting and confident dog.

Working with Debbie from Dog Behavior Solutions, LLC was amazing! She was so patient and so helpful. I was at a loss with some of our Rottweiler's behavior and didn't know what to do. Although we have always owned Rottweilers, this one was a rescue and had displayed some different behaviors I hadn't seen or dealt with before. I found Bark.com and requested help. Debbie from Dog Behavior Solutions responded to my request right away. She came to our house worked with our dog and showed us exactly what to do.
