I just want to take a moment to give a HUGE thank you to Dog 2 Dog. After a brutal and almost fatal fight between our two female dogs in the winter, I was SO discouraged, stressed, and hopeless about my situation. My dogs can test my patience, but I love them with all of my heart. A fellow business owner suggested Dog 2 Dog. Darcy called me up one evening and spent a good half hour with me on the phone listening to my story, which naturally brought me to the point of tears. She was so empathetic and insightful. Anytime a business or representative of takes time to try and help before they are ever even hired for services, you know you've found someone who truly cares about what they do. Fast forward to our last session over this past weekend, and I am so grateful my household and Dog 2 Dog were brought together. It was totally affordable, and Scott and Darcy even allowed us to make installments throughout our time together. I would hire them time and time again!!! My wife and I are thrilled with the professionalism, safety, knowledge and fun from Dog 2 Dog training. Our dog has improved in many aspects after being at trainings and then taking what we have learned and used it during daily situations in a wide variety of places. We have much more confidence in our pup Canyon with each day that comes. He keeps getting better because of what we have learned and what our little fur baby has learned. We got Major from a rescue shelter and he had never been socialized with other dogs. He is very smart but very temperamental. Scott and Darcy were able to teach our family how to integrate him with other dogs, and other people. Scott and Darcy have totally changed the world for Atlas, the girls and I. Friends and family have taken notice on how Atlas’s behavior has already changed with even the first lesson. Scott and Darcy are amazingly knowledgable and trained in their work with understanding the behaviour and language of dogs and how to teach their owner(s) how to build a life long bond/trust/and commitment with their pet(s). For my husband, Jim, and myself(Jeanee), our primary reason for asking for their help and training was for the safety of our two overly excited and hard to contain/train two year old Labradoodles, Red and Oliver. The change in Red and Oliver's behaviour was almost immediate in meeting Scott and Darcy.....Jim and I were, as my English relatives say, totally gob smacked!!!. Within 10 minutes of Scott and Darcy entering our home both dogs were obeying them as if they were their owners of at least 5+ years....we stood mouths open and speechless at the total behaviour turn about and control without using force or anger as training tools. We were sold immediately and thrilled to have found such obviously excellent trainers .and soon learned the real training was with Jim and I, to be followed by daily work with our boys(Red & Oliver). To date it has been an amazing journey! We still have a long way to go with our boys before they are trained where we can feel they will obey the lessons/rules they have been taught. However, training is a continuous work in progress for all of us, where reminders will have to be done when needed by one or both of them...especially when we are in the front yard. I fear the dogs running across the road and getting hit by a car when we are in the front yard working, so this is a major area in their training that we work toward with regard to trust and obedience on their part. Scott and Darcy have taught us the tools we need to teach/train our boys...it is up to Jim and I to follow through with their repetitive training. Scott and Darcy are amazing trainers. They have helped us out with our oldest German shepherd after she was attacked by other dogs to learn to trust us that we will let nothing happen to her. Scott and Darcy have helped with getting my male German shepherd into becoming a therapy dog for children at the hospital. He is almost there! We love going to training and it is totally worth it!!! We will be going back due to us getting another male that is a German shepherd mix. We plan on keeping Scott and Darcy busy!! More...

Scott and Darcy are amazing!! And what we learned by working with them is invaluable! We hired Dog2Dog for the 6 lesson, in-home program to help us with our 9 year old dog (mixed breed) that had started having accidents in the house. We actually have 2 dogs (an 11 year old Aussie, as well) and both were included in the training. We learned a ton about how dogs work and how to work with them to create a better experience with our dogs over all. The training was supportive and well explained and they were always available between sessions to answer questions. We are extremely pleased with the progress our dogs made an what we learned! I plan to start their park group in the new year! I recommend them with out any reservation-- you will love Dod2Dog!!!!! More...
