Dr Taylor is great. One of his specialties is medication management, so he can help you navigate the world of side effects, and minimize the amount of medication you need. He is great at providing comedic relief to lighten the mood when you are going through a tough time. He also can provide therapy, with or without medication. Its beneficial to take care of medication, and therapy through Dr Taylor so you can have a more efficient treatment experience. I was referred by a friend, and i am forever grateful for finding a Dr who cares. More...

He's helped our family through some rough times and my wife and I are so grateful that we found Dr. Taylor.  He points out areas that could be improved but never makes you feel bad about it. Even when dealing with some tough issues, we always look forward to seeing him. More...

I absolutely love Dr. Taylor. He is a fantastic psychiatrist and is such a kind and caring person. I've been with him for many years now and am so thankful he has been there to help me through all of the difficult circumstances I have overcome. He is always very timely when it comes to sending prescriptions, and I have yet to have a problem with medication refills because of something he did wrong. Love this man, would definitely recommend! We were very apprehensive to see a therapist and psychiatrist for our kiddo, but Dr. Taylor put us at ease right away. His bubbly personality and friendly demeanor helped my son crawl out of his shell. He went over the time allotted just to get a better sense of what my child's needs were. Dr. Taylor's office has a great ambience as well, which I personally feel is essential is relieving the stress associated with seeing someone in that specialty. Great overall experience! More...

Dr. Taylor is wonderful! He offers sound advice, solid feedback and wise, concise discernment on personal struggles and dilemmas, as well as mindful, compassionate medication management for those who require it (like me). He has been very gracious on the few occasions we have gone over (sometimes I can be chatty). A great listener, he doesn't cut me off or make me feel rushed if I bring up a last-minute question. I really appreciate how he truly takes the time to get to know his patients, and to make them feel seen and heard. I recommend him highly! More...

Ive been seeing Dr. Taylor for over 6 years and I have nothing but great things to say about him and his practice.  Not only does he actually listen to you when in session (and my meetings are for medication management. ..so not even therapy) he is always available to help. I have more than a few times misplaced or lost prescriptions that he is willing to write up last minute and find a way for me to easily access. (I have to turn in paper prescriptions). I never feel anything but happy when we meet and always leave with a new life lesson. In sincerity he seems like a friend more than a doctor. Someone you are always happy to see. I cannot say I feel that way about any of my other doctors. His office is serene and quiet. Its a little piece of calm in a very crazy world. Very thankful that I found him (online) over six years ago. More...

My primary care physician referred me to Dr. Taylor, and I am so glad she did!  I have been dealing with anxiety and depression for years, and I finally came to a point where I needed help along with medication.  He is able to reason with me in way that helps me analyze my situation and address my issues.  Dr. Taylor's great personality and expertise in his field have made my visits with him something I actually look forward to because I know positive changes are being made with each session. Dr. Taylor has such a warm, inviting personality, and his enthusiasm about therapy is infectious. His straightforward style is especially well suited to people who want a therapist who is engaged and is truly interested in treating your issue. He has a way of helping you see beyond the immediate situation to understand your choices and find solutions that fit holistically. He is gentle but firm when sharing his remarkable insights, which is much appreciated when you're feeling exposed. When I leave his office, I feel inspired, clear-headed, and relieved!Dr. Taylor maintains a great balance of offering practical advice with tangible actions you can work on, while still digging deeper into any emotional or psychological issues that are holding you back.In our fast-paced society today, many doctors just throw pills at the problem in hopes that will remedy the situation. Dr. Taylor's approach is the exact opposite. Dr. Taylor believes in removing harmful drugs from your life. I was prescribed and was taking Ambien every day for 15 years. Since, starting therapy with Dr. Taylor, I haven't had to take Ambien for over 1 1/2 years.Dr. Taylor has helped me change my life. I enthusiastically recommend him without reservation or hesitation. Dr. Taylor is a genuinely good person. I have seen him for a couple years now and with his help have gotten off my medication. He does not push meds on you and in fact will help you hopefully get to a place where you can see the light at the end of the medication tunnel. Having seen a handful of Drs. I know all too well how quickly some are to prescribe and keep you on various medications. I highly recommend Dr. Taylor to anyone looking for a psychiatrist in the Austin area. More...

Dr. Taylor is fantastic! I have had about four appointments with him and he is always happy to see me and in a great mood. He is not the type of doctor who will look at you as "just another patient" or try to push drugs on you. He truly listens and interacts with you to make sure that you are benefiting from your sessions with him. I cannot speak highly enough about him. More...
