Visited Dockside for breakfast 8/17. We all had excellent food and a great view also. Slightly warm that morning but Ok. Very good coffee, coffee shop quality. Blueberry Pancakes, and fruit were fantastic. The breakfast potatoes were perfectly cooked. Daughter had the avocado toast, which she loved, lots of avocado and interesting bacon. Extremely good food. The atmosphere is great and it's such a beautiful place to enjoy a meal in the morning! Service was excellent and the server even reminded me that they have a deal for a free drink when you check in on yelp!

This is a wonderful breakfast, lunch or brunch. Service is wonderful and there is usually plenty of parking (public lot down the street). The servers we have had are fantastic and attentive. My family and I have been going to OCNJ for over 10 years and are always looking for new restaurants to try. SO glad to have found this one and will definitely be going back! LOVED the beautiful view right along the water. I had delicious pancakes, my sister had the lobster roll eggs benedict and my mom had french toast. All super tasty! Had the Shrimp Roll and a Crab Cake sandwich with a side salad accompanied by primo homemade Balsamic Vinaigrette. The food was prepared with care using quality fresh ingredients. The crab cake component of the sandwich was an excellent meaty crab cake with a side of tarter sauce prepared with Old Bay seasoning. Excellent all around! The food, the atmosphere, and the service were all class A. The menu is a bit costly compared to other breakfast joints in OC but I believe the quality is a bit higher so I am okay with it. If your a cheap ass- go elsewhere. Unlike Stone Harbor / Avalon, where there are plenty of places on the bayside to eat, there are very few choices in OC for bayside eating.  Thank goodness we found Dockside Kitchen. It's a great breakfast/lunch place.  Rather than serving up the usual Shore breakfast fare (like Uncle Bill's and its ilk), the dishes at Dockside are really interesting.  The hash browns are actually diced potatoes, nicely browned with rosemary.  The sausage omelet has a really interesting sausage (I think it's andouille) rather than the usual boring breakfast sausage.  French toast is yummy, with crispy edges.  Coffee is pretty good - not the usual swill they serve at breakfast places.  The view, breeze, and size are just right, and the servers are very nice and prompt.  A perfect beginning to a day at the Shore! I had been eyeing this place up for quite awhile and it did not disappoint at all. I loved the out door seating with plenty of good people / boat watching, it is a great location. The menu is phenomenal. Everything sounds SO good that I was having trouble picking one thing! I ended up going with the lobster roll and it was amazing. It was over filled with lobster and the bread and sauce on it were very good. I seriously think I need to come here once a week to try everything on the menu. Stopped in for breakfast on this beautiful Sunday morning and had a great meal! Only had to wait about 10 minutes and we were sat right near the railing so we could see the bay, it has a great view of the bay and is so nice to see the boats and jet skis go by, all the summer fun is happening down near the dockside kitchen. I had the regular brioche French toast and it was delicious, comes with a lot of fruit on top so I was able to share that with my toddler. I also had a yummy glass of iced coffee, perfectly brewed. Decided to try something new with my family for breakfast and ended up at Dockside Kitchen.The seating area was probably my favorite part about the whole experience. All of the tables are opened up to the water and on a clear day you can't get a better view while enjoying breakfast.I ordered the smoked salmon breakfast sandwich which has the smoked salmon on a bagel with chive sour cream, bacon onion jam and it comes with home fries or french fries which can also be substituted for various other sides. I was really impressed, the sandwich was almost out of this world. The bacon onion jam and chive sour cream brought out the flavor of the smoked salmon so well and the home fries are flavored with rosemary to give them a really great piney taste. I also tried the mixed berries which included a mix of strawberries and blueberries topped with a slice of watermelon.The rest of my family really enjoyed their meals as well. The only complaint I have is how long it took the food to come out. Granted we had a decent sized party, but I felt like we were waiting an eternity before we got our meals since we were one of the only groups in the whole restaurant. This didn't bother us too much considering how good the food was. Overall I would say Dockside Kitchen gave us a great breakfast experience. The setting was beautiful and the food was even better. This place is awesome on a trip out to the shore. The quality of seafood is amazing, and I highly recommend anything lobster. P.S. get the Mac and Cheese. The rosemary homefries are okay, and the fries are good too, but the mac is where it's at really. So creamy and that seasoning is amazing. Really great service, nice little deck with a view of the bay and food that's a bit more photogenic than it is delicious. The menu is concise but well put together with instagram friendly options like avocado toast and all kinds of eggs benedict . Fresh squeezed OJ by the pitcher is an absolute must. Their standard side with breakfast items is rosemary home fries. Unfortunately the potatoes were pretty undercooked and went basically untouched on each of our plates. We went for brunch and had a most enjoyable dining experience. The restaurant is located on the dock, as the name states. It's enclosed with exposed a pretty scenic view of the bay where we watched jet skiing . It's also very pleasantly furnished. The staff was friendly, the service was excellent, our nice server, Heather had perfect timing, we felt well taken care of. The food was amazing and looked like it was a poster from Food Network. Came here on a whim and definately wasnt disappointed.  Food was delicious, well seasoned, and the view was fabulous depite being a cloudy morning.  Sipping locally roasted coffee on the dock waiting for the food was definately a zen moment.  We got the lobster benedict and the spinach and tomato omelette.  The benedict was delicious and the bacon-onion jam was a nice surprise.  The toast that comes with the omellete would have been worth the price by itself (seriously wheres it from?).   The portions were also reasonable as well and we even had leftovers. If i had to give 1 piece of constructive criticism the hollandaise was a bit flat on flavor but other than that it was a great experience.Definately will be back with each OC trip More...

Dockside Kitchen is a great find in Ocean City. Dockside Kitchen is located by the bay  where you can eat on the deck by the docks. I decided to choose the avocado toast with coffee. The avocado was very soft, fresh and creamy. The toast was a thicker toast to hold the avocado on top of it. The serving size was large for breakfast so expect to bring some home. Went with the family for brunch. Ordered the kids pancakes and grilled cheese. My husband and I got the lobster roll and lobster Benedict. All of it was simply wonderful and delicious. The coffee knocked my socks off- very rich, strong and flavorful. Definitely the best basic coffee in the OC. The prices are a little steep- but there was no skimping on any of it. I've never had that much lobster in any single dish! Simply and utterly my best food experience in Ocean City New Jersey. They were also open when the majority of stores are closed in the fall. Finally a nice new brunch place in Ocean City!! Went with a friend on a quiet weekday morning and had a literal perfect time. Entire staff was very friendly. The menu is small but loaded with good stuff. My classic Benedict and my friend's omelette were wonderful! Coffee was also great. Been looking forward to trying breakfast here all summer. Came Labor Day morning and it was only a 10-15 minute wait. I was not aware I could get in line via Yelp, though! Still, not a bad wait. We were initially seated at a small table and it was a tight fit for people to walk by so we moved to the counter overlooking the bay. The service was fast and friendly. I ordered the Lobster Benedict with home fries and the husband got a breakfast burrito. Everything was very good- the Lobster Benedict was expensive but had a good amount of lobster meat. Good food and a good view. We decided to give it a try and as expected it was good. Server was excellent and friendly. All the seating is outside which is nice and it's a nice view of the bay. We had the tacos and a turkey wrap for the boys. They thoroughly enjoyed it. One comment was it was so big. Ok. 13 year old boy said there may have been too much turkey. That's an odd one. Wife and I had eggs Benedict. The lobster was excellent and so was the short rib. One critique was the English muffin needs to be toasted longer and they both need a little more hollandaise in them. My wife and I ate at the Dockside Kitchen on 8/18/2018. We arrived at approximately 10:30a.  The hostess, Val was wonderful.  She was right on with the wait time, approx 35 mins.  We were seated at the counter seating overlooking the water.  What a beautiful view.  Our waitress, Sam was terrific.  Our meals came out fast and tasted amazing.  What a great experience we had dining at the Dockside Kitchen.  If your in Ocean City put this place on your list.  You won't be disappointed. This place was great for breakfast! Seated outside with a BEAUTIFUL dockside view. Waitress was super nice, and food was great. Seating outside was a little tight but everyone there was friendly so it wasn't bad. I would DEFINITELY recommend and will be back. I ordered the crab cake sandwich and my boyfriend ordered a BLT. I got home-fries as a side and OH MY GOODNESS they were perfectly crispy and had a touch of rosemary which made them so addicting. My boyfriend didn't even want his fries anymore he wanted my home-fries! Their mugs are adorable and they have them for sale. Great place for the family.
