David has helped me with some home improvements. He has removed old flooring, laid a new hardwood floor and fitted skirting boards. I am delighted with the quality of the workmanship and attention to detail. He has also built and fitted some bespoke shelving in my home office and what a difference it makes! By creating storage and rehanging the door so that it opens the opposite the way he has made the small room much more functional and created the space that I needed. What do you love most about your job?
David enjoys fixing things and problem solving as well as making people happy by sorting those niggling jobs that just never seem to get done - job satisfaction is achieved when the job is done well and it brings a smile to your face.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Going right back to the start, David and Clare met when David was recommended by a friend to see to a long list of job's that were driving Clare crazy - everything from a major plumbing job to hanging shelves, the list seemed endless and was really getting Clare down.
Later down the line and David was working for other people with no zero job security, another setback and the decision was made for the two to trial working together with David effectively being a handyman with Clare managing his schedule. As they say, the rest is history with a growing list of satisfied customers.
