DJ B Carrion was AMAZING. He serviced my husband and I for our wedding and accommodated us with all of our plans from the moment we booked him until the day of our wedding. His services included DJ, MC, Dancing on the Clouds, uplighting, monogram, photobooth and he offered to do videography, but prior to booking him we already hired someone from our church.  Our guests are STILL complimenting us with how MAGICAL our wedding was and it was because of DJ B Carrion. DJ Bernie actually just did our wedding reception (as DJ and MC) and we are very happy with his work. The lighting, monogram, and music were all top notch. My wife and I as well as our guests were really impressed with everything that Bernie did for our reception. Bernie is the consummate professional when it comes to his services. We had a pretty extensive wedding, requiring two separate PA set ups (Ceremony Location and Reception Location). Bernie provided the sound equipment, DJ services, uplighting and photobooth and helped us immensely in delivering our dream wedding to reality. He's very easy to work with and communication is simple, easy and efficient. He even had our custom monogram projected in our reception venue for a classy touch. His DJing is top notch and keeps the crowd contained and entertained on the dance floor. Sound levels are perfect (being a musician) and not overly bearing with highs or overly thumping with lows; there is a delicate balance and Bernie's style and ear allows him to live in that sweet spot. Bernie was an amazing DJ and MC for our April 2018 wedding at the Falls Event Center in Roseville. He responded to my e-mails promptly, answered all of my questions and addressed my concerns. Bernie provided us with two DJ set-ups (ceremony and reception), uplighting for our reception, MC services, mics/lapels, great music, photo booth and a customized monogram, all for a very reasonable price. I sent Bernie all of our songs for the ceremony and a list of artists we like for the reception music. Bernie is able to read the crowd and play music that everyone enjoyed. We had a Luau at our community yesterday. I knew exactly who to call for DJ services since I've seen DJbcarrion's work at a party, and 2 weddings already. I did most of the wedding planning myself. DJ Bernie was the only one I booked who gave me zero stress. He replied to my emails and concerns right away. He came early and checked on me regularly. I am so happy to have had Bernie as the DJ at my wedding last weekend! He knew exactly what songs to play and followed along with the "itinerary" that I gave him perfectly! DJ Bernie was amazing. From beginning to end, he was very professional and friendly. His prices are definitely reasonable. He responds right away to your e-mails too! DJB is amazing. He offers the most reasonable pricing in the area. He DJ and MC all types of parities. He's super accommodating to all of your needs. If you think about it, the DJ/MC has the power to make or break your party. DJB won't disappoint. He kept the part going the entire time. For my own wedding, I booked him for 5 hrs MC, DJ, 3 hr Photobooth, Dance floor lighting, and a custom logo (that I created myself but he does offer his own options). My total was wait for it... under $1200. Simply tell him exactly what you want and he will make it happen. He offers many more services than the ones I requested for example, dancing on the cloud fog effect, ceremony music, extra systems, uplighting, etc. He could really be your one stop shop. Dj Bernie was the best thing to happen to our wedding besides us being happily married after months of planning!

He is the full package and then some! Top quality DJ at the best prices you will find with tons of extras that you would normally have to go with multiple vendors to find.

For one amazing price we got him as the DJ, he provided uplighting, a custom monogram, a photo booth with attendant to run it, offered mics and music for the ceremony (which we didn't need), and personal meetings with him, giving us the attention to detail we were looking for. One of the best decisions we made.

Our wedding was comprised of Indian, Greek, Hip Hop, and top 40 music which he seamlessly blended together and made our diverse group of guests happy to dance to all night long. Through out the night I made requests and announcements on the spot which he was happy to oblige with a positive attitude.

Our photo booth was a big hit and gave our guests some added fun to our wedding. He even gave us all the digital files of all the photo booth images taken just a few days after the wedding. It was amazing.

Not only all of this, but just to speak a little bit to his personality, we even forgot to cut him a check for the day of because of all the hustle and bustle of the wedding. To which he was very understanding of our mistake and we immediately paid him the next day.

We searched wide and far to find a good DJ as it was one of our top priorities and no one came close to DJ Bernie and the amazing packages he offered. You would be lucky to find a DJ to do your wedding at the same price that he did plus all the extras.

If you want to make sure your reception is bumping and the dance floor is full, save yourself the stress and time that comes with event or wedding planning, then hire DJ Berine and cross DJ off your to do list.

Bernie was referred for an fundraising event we had in Roseville.  He is very reliable and fun to work with.  He arrived early and got set up and ready to go.  Prior to the event he requested any special requests or songs we have so he could be prepared.  Our event was very bare bones and he worked with us by not using lighting to reduce his hourly rate.  I would totally hire him again for any event and hope to be able to use his full service in the future.  He has a great personality and is very professional.  Some DJ's in the area are priced so out of the marked he is priced reasonably.  Definitely give Bernie a call! Seriously MADE my wedding reception amazing! Told him I wanted a really jammin' dance party for my reception and he made it happen (and I was unfortunately less than helpful as last minute rain forecast had me scrambling). I STILL have friends telling me I had the funnest wedding they've been to! (Yes I said "funnest") Would HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend DJ Bernie! DJ Carrion was a great addition to our reception and ceremony. He was on time professional and attentive to our needs. During the reception he was extremely accommodating as our timeline did not go as planned, however, from what I have heard no timelines are perfect. People were dancing and having a great time.

I have learned that weddings never go as planned. So when your timeline goes sideways, but DJ stays the course, it really is impressive. If you want your guest to dance than book DJ Bernie!!! Bernie not only provided mics and music for our officiant at the ceremony he created the perfect playlists to set the mood for cocktail hour and get the party started for after dinner. He knows exactly what to play to please the crowd (he played our guests song requests but made sure to ok any questionable songs with the bride first). Bernie did an excellent job at our out of town wedding. We had a hard time finding someone reasonably priced to travel an hour and a half out to our ranch wedding. Once we met with Bernie in person I loved the fact that he was not pushy as some other DJ's had been. He told us the details of what he provides and let us think it over instead of trying to make us sign a contract right on the spot. I really can't say enough great things about Bernie! I contacted 6 or 7 djs and knew from the moment I talked to Bernie that we absolutely have him Dj our wedding. I found Bernie off craigslist and although finding services through there may be often times sketchy, Bernie and Gabe, DJ Partner, were unexpectedly the best vendors during my wedding.  He provided me with unlimited amount of uplights (we ended up using 15), a customized monogram spotlight, 7 hours of DJ/MC service.  And although, I only contracted them for 7 hours, he showed up early and stayed late.  My sister made me a slideshow during my wedding and it wasn't connected any speakers so instead we had him play the music, the slide show started before the music did and with just one look he knew to transition the music to the next song to sync them together.  I can't tell you how nice it felt to have such an intuitive flexible vendor.He kept my crowd dancing all night.  I loved them so much, we're using him again at my sister's and my best friend's wedding.  Bernie and Gabe absolutely enjoys doing what they do, and it truly shows.  Anytime anyone I know is looking for a DJ I always recommend him.  Additionally, both of them have really great MC voices =) The only thing I regretted was not remembering to offer them a vendor meal or drinks.  Definitely, don't forget to that folks, lesson learned. I was married on 5/31/14.  We hired DJ B Carrion as our wedding DJ, which turned out to be one of the best decisions we made in choosing wedding vendors. I should note that I am an event planner, so was very detailed and meticulous in selecting vendors for my wedding, and I was a very high-maintenance bride--expecting a high level of service and lots of contact with my vendors to make sure everything was just right for my wedding day.I RECOMMEND DJ B CARRION EXTREMELY HIGHLY if you're looking for a DJ for your event--especially one as significant as your wedding.  Bernie DJ'ed our wedding ceremony and our reception and he was THE all-star of our wedding.  Bernie came through on every little detail precisely as we'd  arranged (wish I could say the same for my other vendors), did a prefect job MC'ing and DJ'ing, worked well with me and the rest of my vendors before and during the event, and made our wedding reception one super fun PARTY!My fiance found DJ B Carrion on Thumbtack.  He advertised the best price we'd seen--lower than ALL of the reputable wedding DJs in the greater Sacramento area, so we arranged to meet with him.  He came to our home at our convenience to do an initial consultation.  From the very first time we met Bernie, he was very professional (some DJs we met with were quite unprofessional), knowledgeable, presentable (some DJs in the area are not), and above all he was an absolute pleasure to work with!  Bernie offered a us full package--reception lighting (we had 14 uplights), dance floor lighting (he has really cool dance floor lighting), gobo (I even got to custom design my own gobo design), projector and screen, and of course high-quality speakers, lapel mics, sound equipment, and an attractive DJ booth--for a MUCH LOWER COST than ANY of the other area DJs I've seen--and I researched many.One of the most notable things about DJ B Carrion is that BERNIE CONDUCTS HIS BUSINESS WITH HONESTY AND INTEGRITY.  His contract is a very simple one, so, being an event planner, I like to make sure that all of my bases are covered by contract, so I typed up a contract amendment that guaranteed everything we'd agreed on, and Bernie promptly reviewed it, signed it and returned it.  Not once did I feel like he was trying to scam me or cheat me in any way.  Additionally, I have the sense that Bernie was simply truly interested in doing a great job for us, from start to finish--which he certainly achieved.In the planning phase he was adaptable and receptive to all of my requests (we did a funky wedding party intro that took a lot of coordination with music and he was highly involved in helping us get that part just right).  He was easy to work with, he listened, and he always responded right away (sometimes within minutes--but always within a day) to all of my many planning emails.  I cannot stress enough how important it is for your vendors to be responsive by email, and Bernie was the MOST responsive of all of my vendors.  He always got back to me with thoughtful and informative responses, coming up with ideas and suggestions to help me make my reception perfect.  In the execution of the wedding, Bernie showed up much earlier than contracted (at no extra charge) to make sure all was set up with plenty of time.  He brought an assistant with him and didn't charge us more for the additional labor.  He did everything he needed to do to make sure the event was flawless.  He even stayed later than contracted because me, my new husband and a small group of my friends were still getting down on the dance floor.  Bernie set up a beautiful event.  His DJ booth setup, dance floor lighting, gobo and uplights were all high-quality and setup well--Bernie created a beautiful ambiance in my reception space.  I cannot say enough good things about Bernie Carrion/DJ B Carrion.  He did SUCH a stellar job at our wedding and was an absolute pleasure to work with.  I really hope you hire him for your event!  PLEASE NOTE: This is a completely honest review which I am writing as a client of DJ B Carrion--outside of this business relationship he isn't a friend or family member and he did not ask me to write this review--he simply is THAT good. :) More...
