We hired Sider to be the DJ for an evening dinner-dance that was part of a week-long conference in Santa Fe at the Inn and Spa at Loretto in January, 2023. He was FANTASTIC and made the night memorable and fun for everyone. Sider was professional, punctual, had great equipment and listened to our requests and had created a perfect playlist (as well as prepared to meet guest requests in real time). His enthusiasm, read of the dance floor and guest energy, as well as his "hype" talk to keep the party going were spot on. The dance floor was never empty and they had to turn on the lights before people finally left the event. Sider was a pleasure to work with, and I can't say enough about the outstanding service he provided at a competitive price point. I interviewed 8 DJs (including some recommended by the hotel) and Sider was the perfect choice for our conference event. Several local people took his information for their private functions as a result of seeing his work and they will be glad they did. If you need a DJ in Santa Fe, Sider is your man! We recently hired DJ Sider and I cannot put into words how happy I was with his service and professionalism. The event we hired him for was for about 110 adults ranging from 18-40 years old which means everyone's musical preferences were quite different. That being said he was able to keep EVERYONE engaged and dancing with a very well balanced playlist. The light show was great and his MC skills were exactly what we needed for our event. DJ SIDER was the perfect musical addition to our wedding. My husband and I had very specific visions for different portions of our wedding and he came through as promised.
Musical selection was great, and if our guests weren’t feeling a particular song DJ SIDER subtly transitioned to something to get the dance floor going again. I also have to mention that he went above and beyond our initial contract. When I asked him to also provide the music and system set up for our church ceremony at another location just weeks before the wedding, he immediately made it happen. Also, we had two locations for his services during our reception, and in minutes was able to move from outside to inside exactly as we had envisioned. Additionally, I had asked about up lighting and DJ Sider gave us options, took care of acquiring the equipment and taking care of it, so it was one less thing I had to do.
Lastly, the time line and suggestions really helped me work out any kinks in our reception flow. He was organized, had the right presence and assertiveness to make announcements and guide the flow and worked effortlessly with our wedding coordinator and other vendors. All in all, we will hire and recommend him for any other future events. We had many compliments on his services. He was affordable and worth every penny. And an absolute pleasure to work with. He was one of our only vendors that came through flawlessly without any issues and being a former event planner myself, that alone speaks volumes to me.

How can you even put it into words what you did for us and my family? I just can't, but I'll try. Sider has been nothing short of amazing to us, and boy did he deliver! We travelled to New Mexico for our destination wedding and knowing how important music is to a party, I was nervous about picking the right "one". Let's just say, I hit a home run when we chose Sider. He made us all feel like we were in California with the mix he was playing and by the end of the night, we all felt like we made a friend in him. He was so respectful to my family and always made sure that my happiness came first. Not only is he a GOD at what he does, but he's affordable and a beautiful human being! I have worked with DJ Sider for two very different events: one was a fun, uplifting community event for over 300 attendees that need a real party-starting DJ. .. and the other experience was for a “celebration of life” service for about 100 attendees. Being able to read a crowd and see exactly what they are wanting to keep that dance floor packed.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I’m very fun and outgoing. When I get started with a show my style is based on my event. If it’s a fun flowing event I can definitely keep everyone happy. If it’s a small, chill event I can still blend in like I’m part of the furniture. I have a very approachable, people friendly style.
What do you love most about your job?
My favorite part is seeing the people that spend their hard earned money on a DJ look over at me and give me that huge smile or the thumbs up while they are dancing away and making some awesome memories! My customers start off as customers but when the shows over, they always leave as new friends. My customers are the reason I’m able to do what I love to do! They are my #1 priority at any event.
What inspired you to start your own business?
The love of music and seeing people enjoying themselves. A DJ can make or break any party. I wanted to specialize in affordable DJ services for every budget. Where you can be sure that your DJ is 100% professional and is going to deliver a show you and your guests will remember for years to come.
Why should our clients choose you?
Growing up in the nightclub scene, I had a chance to see hundreds of weddings both good and bad. I am able to bring all those years of knowledge into my business now to help private and corporate events be a huge success. I meet with my clients before hire to make sure they know exactly what I bring to the table as of knowledgeable and experience. I also advise them to look carefully for the exact DJ they are gonna allow to be the biggest part of their most memorable event.
