Mico played at our wedding last month and he was amazing! He played old and new with different genres of music that kept everyone dancing all night. He worked great with our MC to make sure our day and night went without a hitch. Mico is so personable, fun and professional and I'm sure our wedding wouldn't have been the same without him. What an amaaazing DJ!! We truly can't say enough about DJ Mico; he is an incredibly nice person but also kept it extremely professional and even came to our table to check up on us during the wedding. We had a montage first dance and he stepped in and helped us edit it without hesitation. He did a fantastic job too! The DJ is one of the biggest parts of a wedding and we felt like he blew it out of the water! We had a simple conversation on the style of music that we wanted and DJ Mico knew exactly what playlist to make and we loved it. He gave us a copy of the playlist in advance and we had no changes. Music mixed live by a professional DJ. Personalized playlists, with everything you want, and nothing that you don’t. Access to unlimited music library, requests on the night (if you would like). DJ reads and adapts to the energy in the room, quickly switches songs out if they aren't popular. DJ checks in with the bride and groom throughout the wedding, to ensure everyone is happy. Classy LED dance floor lighting. Set-up and take-down of professional sound system, tailored to the venue and number of guests. DJ arrives at least 1.5 hours early to set-up and sound test.

The Mico Entertainment Group DJ team is vibrant, professional, and passionate about weddings and parties. We are experts who consistently exceed the expectations of our clients and their guests here in Calgary and beyond. We will work with you to create the perfect playlist, play everything in the right order, and keep the dance floor thriving.
Every DJ on our team will transport, set up, and take down their own professional equipment, including speakers, subwoofers, stands, microphones, turntables, LED dance floor lighting, ambient up-lighting, and more. We arrive early to make sure everything sounds perfect, and there are no problems. We each curate our own unlimited digital music libraries, with hand-picked playlists that feature the best songs from every genre. We are 90s and 80s kids who remember the dance anthems and nostalgic hits that still pack the dance floors today. We also stay up to date with the current top 40, and the old school classics from before our time, to make sure every guest at your wedding or party has the urge to tear up the dance floor.
Our goal is to keep everyone happy: you, your friends, the parents, grandparents, kids, and everyone in between. You as the client can come up and request any song during your event, and we'll play it right away. We'll also gladly play your guests' requests, as long as they fit the vibe you're going for. Thanks to today's technology, you'll never hear us say "I don't have that song."
When you book with Mico, your DJ will reach out to you before your event to go over everything. You will get a chance to speak on the phone and ask them anything that's on your mind. What do you love most about your job?
Our greatest pleasure is seeing people having the time of their lives on the dance floor, knowing that we helped create the atmosphere that made the magic possible. We cherish these moments, and we look forward to creating many more.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Mico is a DJ, event organizer & music entrepreneur.
He grew up playing the drums, listening to tracks, making playlists and burning custom CDs. He has always loved various genres of music, and he has always known there's the perfect place and time for each kind. Since 2011 Mico has been providing premier DJ entertainment at weddings, clubs, festivals, and parties throughout Calgary and beyond. Now 30 years young, Mico uses his musical knowledge and social skills to keep the dance floor packed and his clients happy. He is a crowd pleaser who interacts with guests, learns what they like, and adapts to the energy in the room. Providing the best experience for his clients and their guests is Mico's passion.

We offer no stress booking and disaster protection: we will give you a full refund of your booking fee if you have to cancel/postpone due to covid or some serious health concern.
