Matt and his team did such a wonderful job at our wedding! Matt asked what our main goal was for our reception, and we responded with a BIG dance party. That is exactly what we had! Matt was attentive to what music our crowd enjoyed. It was really special when he incorporated our favorite song to get the party started and to end the night. He also used audio from our MOH and Best Man speeches. It all came full circle! We paid him to stay an extra hour because our wedding party and guests were having so much FUN dancing. Our older guests enjoyed the rat pack music at cocktail hour. We had all ages on the dance floor throughout the whole evening. We definitely made the right choice with Mountain Event Services! If there is any advice I have for couples who are wedding planning, it is to think about writing/verbalizing cues (when to start and fade out songs) for both your sound person and officiant during your ceremony. You may want to map out your reception as far as when to announce things, fade music, etc. Matt is super helpful with this and is attentive to what you would like. I am planning a Bar Mitzvah for my son. I explained what I needed in several texts and emails. I then got a quote from Matt which included services I didn't need. I responded that I was confused by what he was presenting. His response was as follows: Perhaps a phone call would save me a lot of time figuring out how limited your needs are. We start with thorough and work backwards when people are trying to be cheap. If you want to move forward, please call me at 970-372-4882 to discuss event needs. -Matt. I was shocked by him calling a potential customer cheap. His response to that was: Really not understanding... still we need a call if you can muster that. Matt did a stand up job at our wedding reception. Amazing transition between first dances to dance music. We were blown away by how full the dance floor was all night. I requested one quote and have been barged with marketing emails, phone calls, and texts ever since-for the last year. I have repeatedly asked to be taken off the lists and I keep getting called. I contacted Mountain Event Services in search of light production for our high school dance we were hosting this last weekend. Matt, the owner, got in contact with me right away and helped fulfill every need up until the event. He was very professional and passionate about helping us make the best event possible. I felt very comfortable and taken care of the whole time! I could not have asked for a better service for our event. Matt hooked us up with the best light production I have ever seen at a high school dance. It ran so smooth. I would like to highlight, however, that Matt did not just provide a service. He went above and beyond to make sure our event was PHENOMENAL. You can really tell that he cares to give the best service.
