Choosing Matt as our DJ was one of the easiest and best decisions my husband and I made while wedding planning. Our guests had so many positives comments about our wedding and reception, many of them being related to the music and flow of the day/evening. Matt is such a friendly person who is clearly passionate about his work. He provided the music for our ceremony, and did not question for even a second my idea of walking down the aisle to a piano version of the Jurassic Park theme song lol he also was in charge of the music and lights during the reception. Matt went out of his way to make sure our day was as perfect as possible. He visited each table at our reception and allowed our guests to give music song requests and always checked on my husband and myself to see if we needed anything! He worked along side our photographer and videographer to keep our ceremony, reception, and everything in-between on schedule. If you're looking for a DJ for any event, you've found him! Matt did a phenomenal job! I had the pleasure of meeting him through his father, whom is also a pretty awesome man himself (not just saying that b/c he’s my boss) ! I got Matt’s card and had my daughter and son-in-law check out his sight. We basically hired him from the get go. Matt was our DJ at our house warming party. It was an intimate gathering (nothing like a wedding) but he treated the hosts and our guests with the same enthusiasm and attentiveness. He took the time to meet with us before the event to work out the details. He was very responsive before and after we hired him, staying engaged with us to make sure we were happy. During the party, he was organized, engaged, respectful and fun! Taking requests via iPad walking around talking to our guests was so great. DJ Matt Allen was our DJ for prom and did a fantastic job! As dinner was going on he made it a point to walk around and take request so that way right when dinner was done the music would reflect what they wanted to dance too! He also jumped in and danced with the kids at points to get them pumped up and out of their seats and on the dance floor! Matt truly is the best of the best! He made our wedding run smoothly from the planning stages all the way through the final call on our wedding day. Matt is WAY more than a DJ. He is thorough in his monthly-check ins, making sure any previously discussed schedule is stuck to the day of the wedding, helping with other wedding aspects (such as releasing tables for dinner), emceeing special moments throughout the day, as well as in problem-solving so my vision for the day became reality. Matt was an incredible DJ and we could not have been happier with our experience. He met with us multiple times prior to the wedding to make sure he understood exactly what we wanted and he delivered just that. We appreciated his experience as he was able to ask us a lot of questions that we didn’t even think of but made our day great. Matt got to know our guests and was great about asking for requests and keeping the dance floor full. One thing that we really appreciated was that he played music during dinner. I recently had Matt as my DJ for my wedding on September 10th! He was absolutely phenomenal! Things were so crazy beforehand and during that I was running around crazy! Matt had everything organized, played appropriate music during the night and kicked it up when everyone was ready to dance! Every month he even emailed me for updates and was VERY prompt when I had questions and needed advice. Music is one of the most important parts to a reception and he knocked it out of the park! He was very organized, had all the equipment you would need and definitely kept the dance floor going(Which for sure can make or break a good wedding reception). The first time my husband and I met Matt we knew right away that he was going to be perfect to have as the MC of our wedding. We needed to incorporate our cultural music into the evening, we sent Matt the music and he did an amazing job mixing it in with the dance songs. My husband and I chose Matt after we had the opportunity to speak on the phone and meet in person to go over our options and ideas for our wedding. I say that to highlight the fact that Matt was patient and willing to answer all my questions and be active in our planning as we prepared for our big day. He never made me feel brushed off and was even proactive in reaching out every month as the wedding day approached. As a bride to be you should pay attention to how a vendor treats you leading up to the event as it will let you know how the day of will likely go.
