What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Flexibility.
It's all about reading the floor and the crowd, anyone can have a good playlist but the difference comes when you know the exact right time to play the exact right song.
Experience definitely helps, but some DJs think that sticking to their predetermined song order is more important than the floor, which I disagree with - the DJ works the room.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Funky, Deep and always UK.
The end of the night is my natural habitat. Although no stranger to disco and house, I prefer to bring the energy slightly higher and play a bit of uk tech, breaks and acid.
What do you love most about your job?
Getting the room HOT.
I love parties and the energy that they can have. Especially when I get in the zone and am not having to worry about anything other than keeping the groove going.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always known I wont be able to work for someone, much happier to be an autonomous agent.
