Q&As

The secret to keeping a party dancing all night long is knowing your crowd, being energetic, taking requests, and playing the appropriate music. Deejaying consists of being able to "MC," play music, mix/blend, and control the tempo of the party. Being able to conquer all of these makes a true DJ. If executed perfectly, a DJ can make people of all ages dance all night.

I would describe my style as "out of the box." My style changes based on the nature of the event. My style can be fast paced but I can also be melancholy combined with smooth transitions. Given the right atmosphere, my style can resemble Rock & Roll, 70's & 80's Pop, or even Hip-Hop/Rap music. My style will include blending and mixing songs but also cutting & scratching when appropriate.

In my honest opinion, music transcends all culture, race, ethnicity, religion, and even emotions. With music, we all can laugh, smile, dance, and sometimes cry. In my opinion, that is the beauty of music. When you gather a group of people from all ages, race, and gender, music is the one substance that we all have in common. What I love most about music is how it unites us all.

I've been a music lover since the age of 12 or 13. I've always been a music collector. A few years ago, I was encouraged to start my own business because of my love for music and people. I was told, "You should be a DJ. You like people and music---that's the best combination." Deejaying is a business, however I started this business to enjoy music with other people.

I think clients should choose me for the following reasons; 1. I'm negotiable, 2. my knowledge of music, 3. My skill set of mixing and blending, 4. My personality 5. My ability to make the crowd dance 6. My love for music, 7. my overall professionalism 8. and my diverse music collection.
