Joe was awesome, our initial meeting with him made us so comfortable knowing he was truly listening to our requests. Our ceremony music had to be timed perfectly at certain points and he was spot on. This DJ is awesomeness incarnate! I was at a public event in San Dimas and Joe really worked the crowd. He changed up the music throughout the night as the crowd changed. DJ JOE IS ON POINT!!! He is passionate, professional, great with communication and really listens to your playlist needs/requests. He even participated in the Karaoke contest (not too shabby singing Joe) to get my other guests going-- how fun!!! I did a search on my local Craigslist, narrowed down a handful of hopefuls- not only was he the first/quickest to respond,but he was kind, thorough and clear in details about how he runs his business. AND... if that wasn't enough he drove all the way to San Diego for my party from Valencia, CA which is like 4+ hours away?!! The man is dedicated, personable and efficient. Set up an hour in advance and played until right on time to end. I had to tip him additional just knowing what he invested, just driving alone. But more than that, I personally really enjoy paying for TOP NOTCH SERVICE, plain and simple. There were a couple of lesser priced DJ's but I know you get what you pay for. How came with everything equipped to set my 40th party off right- the light show, Karaoke set up, the speakers, mics, the whole shabannnnnng!!!!! We hire Dj Joe for an outdoor pig roast block party to celebrate Memorial day. Â Joe came and set up fairly quick and got the party rolling. He had a list ready to to suit everyone. Â And when someone requested the Macarena song, a bunch of of us didn't remember the moves so here comes Joe who saunters onto the dance floor and stretches himself to show us how it's done! We hired DJ Joe to DJ and MC for our wedding on 5/5/18. Joe is such a kind and fun person but on top of that he a very experienced professional DJ. He definitely delivered everything and more than promised. He really listened to what was important to us and was so understanding and flexible when we made some changes mid-wedding. DJ Joeam was a hit at our recent Bat Mitzvah. He was great about meeting me beforehand. He kept  in touch to make sure he had a list of songs we favor. The day of the event he was terrific. He keep the event moving forward which allowed me to relax and enjoy my guests more than I expected.  He got everyone out on the dance floor. For the past 2 years, our HOA has hired Joe for our annual New Years Eve party and for the past 2 years I/we have danced the night away into the wee hours of the morning! BEING ABLE TO SELECT THE MUSIC RIGHT FOR THE MOMNET . READING THE CROWD IS ONE OF THE THINGS I LEARNED, THE BEST OVER THE YEARS.
When approaching a wedding, I place a high focus on music clients like. Every wedding is uniquely catered to the couple, their friends and their family so there is a variety of music, rather than any boring "wedding music". Each wedding or event is different because the music is different.
What do you love most about your job?
I LOVE THE FACT THAT . I'M HELPING MAKING MEMORIES WITH EACH EVENT I WORK. I HAVE ALWAYS HAD A LOVE FOR MUSIC AND SEEING PEOPLE HAVING A GREAT TIME. I LOVE THE FACT THAT I'M NEVER AT THE SAME PLACE EACH WEEK IT'S AN ADVENTURE. I LIKE TRAVELING TO DIFFERENT AREAS OF SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA AND SEEING NEW THINGS.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I HAVE ALWAYS HAD A LOVE FOR MUSIC AND SEEING PEOPLE HAVING A GREAT TIME. I ALSO WANTED TO OFFER PEOPLE GREAT DJ /MC SERVICE AT A FAIR PRICE.
Why should our clients choose you?
I CUSTOMIZE EACH EVENT TO THE CLIENT. THEY SELECT THE MUSIC THAT I'M PLAYING . BECAUSE IT'S THEIR DAY , NOT MINE THE MUSIC IS A REFLECTION OF WHO THEY ARE NOT ME. AT LEAST 80 TO 95 OERCENT OF THE MUSIC I PLAY AT EVENT IS SELECTED BY THE CLIENT. THEY ARE PAYING ME TO PLAY THE MUSIC THEY WANT PLAYED NOT WHAT I WANT. AS I TEL PEOPLE I CAN PLAY MY MUSIC ANYTIME I WANT . BUT WHEN I'M WORKING FOR THEM IT'S THEIR MUSIC NOT MINE.
