What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
Keep the energy keep the crowd, keep the crowd keep the vibes. However for long dj sessions the night has to be built up and taken from a non atmospheric environment to the point of a great club vibe and energy.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Jeff C is a London dj: From the summer of 1995 to present his style has graced clubs / bars / corporate events / private events / fashion shows and street parties by providing an energetic flow of music to keep the crowd moving.
Preferred genre of music ranges from 70’s, 80’s, 90’s grooves from Funk to Classics, Afro Funk, Progressive Soul, Broken Beats, Deep House, House, Disco, Rare Grooves, Eclectic Ol’ Skool, Disco, Garage, Hip Hop, R&B, Commercial Chart / Block Party.. However the years of experience provides allowance to adapt to clients and audiences.
What do you love most about your job?
Watching people enjoying the music I play and seeing the pleasure / fun generated from the audience participation. Overall, satisfaction of the client is paramount.
Why should our clients choose you?
In the the summer of 1995, after putting together a mixed tape of rare grooves, boogie and funk, it was given to a promoter who gave Jeff C his first residency at Come the Revolution in Chelsea. A true music lover who believes that the dj has a duty to provide the best genre of music they possibly can to an audience, whilst demonstrating their passion for that genre` of music and demonstrating knowledge of said genre which ever it may be!
Appreciating his style, this led to a residency at Zebra Bar, Turnmills, Ormands alongside Ben n Pete (BBE), amongst a few. Jeff took his eclectic style to the Fridge Bar. It lead to a weekly Tuesday and Saturday night at the bar in ’98.
Jeff has also been featured in the Saturday Times and been included in club listing magazines and such as the Source, A List and Hot Tickets, and internet listing sites such as Don’tstayin.com. One Week to Live to name a few at events where he has dj’d and has more recently been djing on internet radio stations and venues across London and Essex.
