A gifted entertainer, and a natural at the mixing board, Dan started his career early in the DJ business.
Dan use to DJ the Friday night teen/youth dances at the Boys and Girls Club of Ottawa-Carleton (Fred C. McCann Unit). Dan always took his work seriously, and was a positive role model that all it's young members looked up to.

Dan is excellent when it comes to mixing "cutting edge" beats, and he instinctively knows how to read and connect with his crowd.

As a member of the Boys and Girls Club, I regularly attended these dances and the dances would get bigger and better.

If you are looking for a DJ that is young at heart, has the ability to connect with youth of any age, I strongly recommend Dan for your next school dance, community party, Bar/Bat Mitzvah's, etc. You name it, Dan, is your man.

DJ DAN was hired to dj for our stag and doe this past weekend (July 23, 2016) and he did a fantastic job! I was a little nervous because I just found him on Facebook and didn't have any personal recommendations however his reviews spoke volumes! He came and set up an area with a partner, he was very professional, he took song requests all night long and helped Co- Emcee with a friend. We had the pleasure of having DJ Dan Steel at our Halloween Event this year. Not only did he play all the music that we requested on our list we had sent to him but he added in other songs that fit to our guest perfectly. My friends and family hired DJ Dan for my 40th birthday party last night and he definitely went above and beyond making sure everyone was happy having a great time. He had the perfect song selection which had everyone of all different ages on the dance floor the whole night. I've been to a few parties before where he was the DJ and he never dissapoints.
