I will be the first to admit that I was a bit of an unorganized (I prefer laid-back, but whatever) ; ) bride... I waited until the very last minute to give many of our requests and instructions to CD, and he never made me feel bad about it, and of course was able to work everything in, as if he had know the plans for weeks :) He was very personable, not only with my new husband and I, but also with our wedding party, and guests. So many of the songs I requested he was able to play, and I felt like it truly was our night, because of this :)

My wife and I were very pleased with the services provided by Chester Mann for our wedding. He was very courteous and professional the entire night, and constantly checked with us to make sure everything was going exactly the way we wanted it to. We had a last minute music crisis where our musicians for the ceremony could no longer perform, and he was more than willing to provide the ceremony music and adjust his schedule to accommodate us. We were in contact with him the week leading up to the wedding and he made sure to take the time to double check that all of our song choices were correct and that the evening would flow the way we desired. DJ CD Mann was wonderful! He was very professional-well dressed, great emcee voice, energized the crowds and handled a delicate situation with my grandma (whose husband, my grandfather had recently passed) during the anniversary song. He was patient with our indecisiveness and suggested songs for parts of the reception we hasn't thought of. He was very flexible on the day of the event and quickly found a polka song when we decided last minute to do a bridal dance. I contacted Chester Mann a few months before the wedding, I narrowed my search down to him and another DJ. After speaking with Chester, I had a good feeling about him. He was very informative and understood exactly what i wanted for my wedding. A few days before the event he contacted me to go over everyones name to make sure he pronounced everything correctly, which i thought was great. The day of my wedding, he was ON TIME, and AMAZING. Our guests from ages 2-85 were on the dance floor all night. He made things fun, had great ideas, and most importantly LISTENED to me and gave me exactly what i wanted. Our guests were VERY impressed with Chester, my mother will be getting remarried next year and has decided to book him for her event. Again I was beyond satisfied with his services. If you are holding your event and looking for a DJ, Chester is the way to go if you are looking to have a good time!!

DJ Mann did a great job at my 5/11/13 wedding. Beforehand we spoke on the phone and it was very obvious that he is experienced and knows what he's doing. After speaking with me and going over some paperwork he was able to get a sense of the music we were looking for and the overall feel we wanted at our wedding. He was open to any and all suggestions and offered me his opinion when I needed some guidance.
On the day of we had some problems with our shuttles getting us from the church to the venue so we were running late. When we finally arrived he took control, moved us along, and we didn't have to worry about anything the entire night. He was a great MC and kept the party going. He played what we wanted and respected our "do not play list". He also took requests from the guests.

Finding a DJ was the one thing I was super nervous about. A bad DJ can ruin a fabulous wedding. After a couple of phone calls and emails with CD I was confident that we had made the right decision. His prices are great, he was able to accommodate every song request we had (and we had some from all over the charts) and the lighting he provides is great! Chester was extremely responsive to what we wanted. My husband is a huge boxing fan and I asked him to announce us as if we were boxers and he came up with something that was just perfect! My husband had no idea and had the biggest smile on his face!

Our Ceremony was on the Beach and Reception was at the local Island Winery. CD Mann was the best wedding DJ that we have ever seen. He not only Emcee'd the entire wedding and reception, he fixed problems that no one could have ever planed for. Our guests are still talking about the wedding and how much fun it was! He took requests and played all songs that we had requested. We had a difficult time choosing music and his knowledge helped greatly! We often think back to our first dance and the entire night and feel so grateful that it went as well as it did and we owe most of the night's success to DJ CD Mann and his professionalism and skill! CD was very helpful in organizing the music for our reception. Some of the dances were new to us, and his suggestions were spot on. Everyone had a great time, and he was even able to ad-lib when the bride forgot the order of the dances. After speaking with a variety of DJs for our wedding, we decided to go with DJ CD Mann. And it was one of the best decisions we made about our wedding! ! From the minute we booked him for our event, CD Mann dedicated himself to making our wedding as special as possible. Do I really think that CD Mann deserves a perfect 5/5 review? Am I just saying it to be nice? Absolutely without a doubt this is the best DJ either my wife or I have experienced. If you have questions about his capability's or anything just message us! And to be totally honest I would say that CD (Chester Mann) is 50% of the reason that our wedding reception was totally amazing. The other 50% was the venue and the food because that also was awesome, but I feel we made 100% the correct choice in going with CD. The night went by seamlessly. We were on a very tight budget, but we didn't want to skimp when it came to the music. The DJ that you pick will either make or break your wedding. And that's a fact. The venue might be nice, the food might be good, they might have a good bar with tons of drinks, and they may have a huge luxurious cookie table that you just can't stop visiting, but if the DJ stinks, so will the whole night. CD met with us before hand and sat down with us to plan the whole night out, every single detail he catered to everything we wanted and made it so easy for us to design the night exactly how we wanted it. He played every song we wanted, and played NOTHING we asked him not to. Every event the whole night from the Entrance, to our first dance, to the cutting of the cake was executed with precise professionalism. CD uses new equipment now, hes been doing this for 15 years or something like that... im sure at some point he used actual CD's but he has an awesome looking system that runs off a computer which i think gives the DJ more freedom to have way more songs, and also to plan things easier to alleviate te possibility of any mistakes. His whole system fit perfectly and did not take up a lot of room but would have been enough to fill a football stadium with sound if needed. Also had lights which made the dance floor very cool to dance on, and if I remember the lights just came as part of the package, we didn't have to pay extra like some DJ's (well most I checked with charged extra for lights) I think lights should just be included, if your a wedding DJ, lights need to be part of your show. So to sum things up my wife and I are so happy, we think back all the time to our wedding night and how special it was because of how good a job CD did. He's a great guy, very friendly and kind, and truly wanted to best for us on our wedding night. Oh, lastly CD's personal appearance was very professional, he wore a very nice tuxedo and it just fit in so well with everything else. Thanks for a great nice CD!
