DJ Brevin was amazing and the highlight of the night! Everyone absolutely loved him and he made the night a fun party. Brevin would frequently check in with myself and my husband to make sure everything was going well. Being on the island, Brevin knew exactly where to set up and the logistics of the venue. My husband and I got married on Mackinac Island this past July. DJ Brevin was fantastic and easy to communicate with! He lives on the island so no need to get him a hotel room and he's very familiar with the venues. Our guests loved him and we danced ALL night long! My only comment was that I wished he spoke to the videographer when we were about to start our first dance. I can honestly say that DJ Brevin made our wedding reception a truly memorable experience for all parties involved! He did a wonderful job announcing the bridal party as we entered the venue. The music he played during dinner was perfect. I was pleasantly surprised by how each song was even better than the last. When it was time to hit the dance floor, DJ Brevin definitely did not disappoint! You could tell he put a lot of time and effort into planning the perfect mix of songs, combining our requests with songs he choose along with a couple songs our guests requested. The dance floor was packed the entire night. I had guests frequently telling me how awesome the DJ was, and I couldn't agree more! They say a DJ can make or break your wedding, and DJ Brevin definitely made our wedding an incredible and unforgettable event for everyone involved. Playing the right songs...at the right time. It is as simple as that!
How would you describe your ‘style’?
I would describe my style as high energy, open format...meaning I try and build energy on the dancefloor by playing great music irregardless of genre.
What do you love most about your job?
The wonderful people I meet, and relationships I form as a result. I have several families for whom I have deejayed multiple weddings. That kind of recurring business is the greatest compliment I can be given.
What inspired you to start your own business?
It is what I always dreamed of. I love the freedom that comes with being my own boss...and that no two days are ever the same.
