What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
By reading the Dancefloor I can see what songs are keeping guests dancing. With 17yrs experience I know which songs work & which doesn't. It tends to be alot of the classics more popular songs for Weddings and Celebratory occasions, 70'S, 80'S 90'S. With younger guests I can adapt and play more recent music, RnB, UKG. Every event is different. Sometimes guests like me to play from their playlist then fill in the gaps with my own music, or some guests prefer I don't deviate from the playlist at all. I'm experienced enough to cater for whatever is given to me, assuring your event will be the best it can possibly be!
How would you describe your ‘style’?
My style is Popular, I don't play anything that guests won't be familiar with. Nothing too heavy and nothing that you couldn't have a boogie to!
What do you love most about your job?
There's nothing better than a full dancefloor, if I can keep people dancing from start to finish and everyone is chanting for "One more Song" at the end of the evening I know I have done a fantastic job. Even if the dancefloor isn't full, if I see people at the bar or around a table tapping there feet, bopping their head, then they're enjoing what i'm playing. That makes me happy :-)
What inspired you to start your own business?
Bookings were becoming more consistent. I was being reccomended alot and getting lots of tags and mentions on social media. Even staff at venues were asking for business cards most evenings. This was a sure indicator that DJ'in and Mobile Disco's could become my sole job.
A typical Saturday for me is an 11-1pm & 3-5pm Children's Party Disco (www.rascalsparty.co.uk) followed by an evening event of something like 7pm until midnight for a Wedding Reception or Adults Birthday Party, which could be anything from a 16th to a 60th!

The setup itself is very photogenic and will do nothing but compliment photographs of your event, wether it's the Bride & Grooms first dance or guests doing the Conga, the Disco is very attractive. You can expect a crisp sound system along with LED Lighting , it's a breathe of fresh air compaired to what some DJ's are bringing to the table.

I can also offer Photobooth Service prices start at £230 and can include unlimited prints, guestbook and USB stick of all photos taken that evening.
