I was in search of a DJ for my 50th birthday when I came across A-Mix DJ Services. Andy and his team were polite, very professional, and from the very beginning displayed a willingness to work with me to help me achieve the goals of my prom-themed birthday celebration. A-Mix did an amazing job with announcements, helping me with my entrance, and keeping the dance floor full. Not to mention they customized the photo design for the photo booth to match the theme of my party and included songs from a playlist that I gave them. Andy was on time which it was very important for me bc the guest were arriving in limousine, I needed the music to start on time.
He was very professional, attentive, understanding, and provided different options for my event. The music section was amazing and was able to play pre-selected songs as well.
We experience a delay playing a video using a projector, I recommend to try it before event to avoid any stepback, giving 4 stars bc of that. I recommend and would use his service again.

As a DJ with years of experience, I can tell you that the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long is all about reading the crowd and keeping the energy up. It's important to have a diverse music selection that appeals to a wide range of tastes and ages, and to be able to switch between genres seamlessly. I also like to throw in some surprise songs or remixes to keep things fresh and unexpected. But ultimately, it's all about creating an atmosphere where people feel comfortable and excited to dance, and engaging with the crowd to keep the momentum going.

Photo booths are a great alternative to traditional photographers because they provide an interactive and fun experience for guests while capturing candid moments. Unlike traditional photographers, photo booths allow guests to take photos at their leisure and with whomever they choose. Photo booth prints can also serve as instant party favors and memorabilia for guests to take home. Additionally, with the rise of digital photo booths, guests can instantly share their photos on social media and keep the party going even after it's over.

What do you love most about your job?
As a DJ, the best part of my job is the ability to connect with people through the power of music. It's not just about playing songs, it's about the energy and emotion that comes with each track and how it brings people together on the dance floor. As a musician who has been playing the guitar for over a decade, I have a deep passion for all things music-related. Being able to create and match different tunes together to create a unique and unforgettable experience for my clients and their guests is what keeps me going every day. The thrill of seeing a packed dance floor and the smiles on people's faces is truly priceless.
What inspired you to start your own business?
As a DJ, I've always had a passion for creating a vibe and getting people up and dancing. I've also been studying engineering in college, and I knew that starting my own business doing what I love would not only provide me with an income but also allow me to continue to pursue my passion for music. The ability to be my own boss and create something from scratch is incredibly rewarding, and I love the challenge and excitement that comes with running my own business.
