Shannon is a very kind and gentle person. She makes you feel comfortable from the onset. As her website describes, she provides a variety of healing services.

I suffer from a lot of physical pain on a chronic basis; for which I have received myriad treatments/modalities. Many modalities have left me in more pain following a treatment (i.e. therapeutic ultrasound, accupuncture, etc.).
With her healing hands, she has been able to diminish the pain that I feel. I can actually feel something that I have called "healing flutters", for lack of a technical term to describe the sensations experienced. In fact, there were times that I was certain that she was physically touching me, as I could feel the heat; however upon opening my eyes, I realized that her hands were actually hovering above me. She has treated me more than once and I plan to continue to receive treatments. Just to clarify, it is not in place of the osteopathy, physiotherapy, RMT, etc. that I currently receive, however as a wonderful supplement to the existing modalities.

To anyone who suffers from pain, I would recommend trying something new and different. Who knows, you may be pleasantly surprised, as I have been. More...

Shannon has turned this non-believer into a believer.

I have always found great stress relief from deep tissue massage, so I couldn’t fathom how light touch, or even no touch at all, would be satisfying on any level. But, then, I knew nothing about the practice of Reiki.

First, Shannon came to me – that made things easy. Her mobile practice is neat and professional. She quickly transformed one of my living spaces into a spa – complete with mobile massage table, linens, music, crystals, Tibetan sound bowl and more. We began simply sitting and chatting. She gave some readings, all connected to the message of ‘Universal Life Energy’. (I would later learn that this is the literal translation of the word ‘Reiki’). She told me about the various crystals and why she had selected particular ones for me. Then we went to the massage table where Shannon guided me through deep breathing and relaxation. This part felt very much like ‘Mindfulness’ – something I have studied and practiced. And, then Shannon began her hands/palm practice over my body. She stayed in communication the entire time, talking through the energy practice and always asking my permission. The session was both relaxing and much more emotional than I had anticipated. Having suffered a life-altering trauma just over a year ago, I found the session to be powerful in ways that I cannot easily explain. We ended the session with a chat about the energy that had been experienced.

Wow – what had happened? This non-believer had experienced something relaxing, emotionally powerful and comforting. Was I now … a believer?!
