Divine Harmony Massage Therapy

I have had several massages but none would compare to the massage I got from Obo at Divine Harmony in Roswell, Ga.  I had been in horrible pain in my lower back and piriformis down the left side for months.  The pain got so bad, I actually didn't know what to do.  I used, a cold pack, heat pack and went to a chiropractor.  Nothing worked until I found Divine Harmony and the best masseuse ever!!  Obo is patient, methodical and he for sure knows his business.  He continually worked through the massage without a break, and kept checking to be sure I was okay and if the pressure was okay.  When I walked out front, this was the first time I had walked without pain in months! I gifted my mom a massage at Divine Harmony for Mother's Day not knowing what to expect. She had the BEST massage! She said that Obo was polite & professional. Unlike other massages, she felt relief in her shoulders and back for a while afterwards. My mom also mentioned that she felt light as a feather and it's because Obo was able to figure out where the knots/tension were during the massage & apply the right amount of pressure. I've had chronic back pain for some time and nothing was helping. And then I met Obo. Without a doubt, one of the most gifted, caring massage therapists around! I went in to get a massage on my birthday and amazing is an understatement! I go to the chiropractor 3 days a week and I am often sitting in a chair for 8 hours a day, so I am STIFF AS A BOARD! I have had many professional massages in the past but this was by far the best. I left feeling brand new! The techniques used were unique and tailored to YOU! Obo gave me the best massage I've ever received! I chose a deep tissue massage for 60 min. He was very professional. You can tell he really cares and truly wants you to relax. Five stars doesn't even begin to cover the amazing work Obo does! If I could give him 10 stars, still wouldn't be enough.I've had my fair share of massages over the years at various massage places and I have never, ever in my life had as much relief from a massage then I do when Obo works his magic .  Oh boy, where to start ...I've got a lot of problem areas (especially lower back and legs), and I am 90% pain-free every time I leave his office. You're not only getting a really good massage, but you're getting the release at tension points and stretching. This is NOT your standard foofy spa massage either. It's just amazing! He finds where you're hurting and not only works on that spot but around it and everything connected to it until the pain is gone.  He doesn't rush, he's extremely respectful, very conscious to make sure the pressure isn't too much, super friendly and just a joy to speak with. I had my first therapeutic massage with Obo yesterday and am SO pleased.  He spent 90 minutes working on very tight areas of my back and legs.  I have had a lot of trouble with sciatica and piriformis syndrome really restricting my movement.  I felt much better after the massage and was surprised at the range of motion I was able to achieve.   Tight muscles have been a problem for me for a long time.  I look forward to continuing to work with Obo to remedy the situation.  He is very concerned for your comfort during the massage and will not go beyond a point where you are comfortable.  I am so happy to have found Obo!  You will not regret it if you make an appointment! This guy gets it. When I've had massages elsewhere, they asked me if I had any problem areas, and then proceeded to give me the same cookie-cutter massage they give everyone else. I would leave feeling refreshed and relaxed, but not much else, and it'd be well over a year before I would get another. With Obo, on the other hand, the idea of a sleepy 60 minutes went right out the window. I told him I had some back pain, and he spent the entire working just on that. His massage was more "physical therapy" than "day at the spa." I left feeling like I had done something to improve my overall health and well-being and not just "treat yo self." Obo, owner and LMT, is an honest and excellent masseuse.  His pressure was just right.  I though I would only be able to take a light pressure, but he was able to work my muscles deeply.  The first time with a new LMT always seems a little awkward, but not with OBO.  He communicates, and don't hesitate to tell him the areas you want to focus on.  He gives you a full hour, not 50 minutes like other places.  Highly recommend him. Ok.  I've been here twice. First time, Angie was terrific.  She has strong hands, and go go very deep tissue.  However, I'm a wuss(? ) so don't like it too deep - it hurts! But she listened to me and really worked out my knotted neck and back.  I'm sure she can handle whatever your body needs, so feel free to ask for her.That said, I just saw Obo. Again very strong hands. Sometimes it hurt, but I felt it hurt less and less as he massaged and stretched away my stress.  Quite remarkable actually. I'm not surprised to know he's going for his doctorate for physical therapy. I was shocked when after 1 minute, he said " you sleep on your left side, don't you?" He nailed it!
