guys - i love Laura and her team! and they definitely know it.I've used Dish Catering twice for two different work events, and I'm consistently blown away by Laura's attention to detail. Even more important? It's obvious she CARES about the experience each of my guests walks away with. Most recently, we hosted a "Movie Night" event, and she went above and beyond to create high end concessions that my guests could not get enough of. I can't recommend Laura enough. HIRE HER. Laura catered my baby shower this past weekend - and I'm so glad she did!First: she's very responsive. She replied to my original inquiry/quote request within 2 days. After that, we had regular communication via email but she's also available through text and calls. Second: the pricing is great. She asked for our budget and was very honest about what she could and couldn't work with in terms of pricing per person. My mom (the hostess) and I started by providing a potential menu. Laura then provided suggestions to ensure it was a good variation and would work to fit the pricing she quoted per person. She was upfront about the tax, gratuity, prep payments that would be added. Third: the food and display were wonderful. Our guests commented on how tasty the food was and I agreed. I loved everything that I ate (or was able to eat due to pregnancy restrictions - which she worked with!). She also made sugar cookies that had cut outs to spell baby's last name. So cute!! The food was brought out on beautiful dishes. She brought a table cloth that matched the theme, a menu written on chalkboard, and a few pieces of decoration. Laura and Dish Catering are the best!  I have worked with Laura over the past 3 years on parties ranging from a Frozen themed 4th birthday party for my daughter, a camping themed 40th birthday party for my husband, a bridal shower and a tea party baby shower.  Not only does she come up with an amazing menu and delicious food that all of the guests love, but she also helps me come up with ideas for the theme of the party and she brings her own props  and manages to work on the party decor while making tons of food!  She is a true professional and very efficient and creative.  At the same time, she is really personable and easy to work with--hence the reason I keep coming back to her whenever I need to throw a party!She is flexible and will accommodate any dietary restrictions of you or your guests.  She can also assist you with referrals for party equipment rentals and bartenders or servers.  She is truly a full-service caterer and she has helped me throw some amazing parties.  You will not be disappointed if you hire her! We hired Dish catering for an intimate gathering in a private home and were so happy with Laura! She did a great job in creating the best menu for our budget, the food was DELICIOUS, the little personal touches - AMAZING and the set up of the tables looked so great! Dish Catering made the groom's cake for my October 2014 wedding. It was a moist, delicious vanilla cake with berry filling. And when I say berry filling, I don't mean some weak raspberry jam. The center of the cake was full of giant, ripe, delicious blackberries and raspberries. Laura definitely did not skimp on quality ingredients! As good as the cake was, for me what was even cooler was the design. I'm a huge nerd for anything and everything star wars. Working with my wife, Laura designed the opening credits crawl using our story. It was awesome, and everyone loved it. My wife even found Han and Leia cake toppers, with a smaller Chewbacca to represent our dog Gemma. It was one of my favorite parts of the wedding. More...

After meeting with several catering companies, we decided to hire Laura from Dish Catering based on her positive reviews, attention to detail, flexibility and her ease of communication for our June baby shower. We were 100% satisfied with our decision to hire Laura and she made a huge impression on our guests with her delicious food and attention to detail and super cute presentation!The Food - Not only does Laura's food look good, but it tastes even better. Laura worked with us to create a menu specific to our event, and everything tasted delicious. The mac N Cheese in Parmesan cups were a highlight for me. My guests could not stop talking about how good the food tasted. The Presentation - Everything about Laura's set up and presentation was SO cute. From little grilled cheese with tomato soup "shots" to chicken lollipops in grass, her food was part of the decor! She offered to bring her own accessories to make the buffet table look amazing and it absolutely did!The Lady - Laura herself is a true professional. She worked so hard to make sure everything went off flawlessly, and left with our kitchen looking spotless. I couldn't believe she pulled the whole thing off on her own. She was extremely easy to work with, and would email us back right away. We never felt uneasy working with her, and I trusted her completely. Â She has such attention for detail that makes working with her a breeze. ABOVE AND BEYOND - I let Laura know that my boss (who happens to have very strict food allergies) would be attending the shower. Laura let me know which dishes she was making would work with her restrictions, and even offered to make an additional dish to make sure she had enough. This was so incredibly thoughtful and my boss was so grateful and impressed at this extra gesture. If you are searching for a caterer who will be flexible to work with you for your event, Laura and Dish is your gal. Laura catered my daughter's fifth birthday party and did an amazing job! Â My budget was limited, but she somehow managed to create a great menu for both kids and adults within my budget. My daughter had requested a snow theme, and Laura was wonderful and creative about incorporating the theme into the menu. Â Everyone raved about how cute everything looked and how great it tasted. I have been thrilled with Dish Catering and owner/chef Laura's professionalism and talent. She has twice catered for me, and both times the food was delicious, creative and loved by all! Laura is versatile - she can easily tweak menus, offering variations suitable to vegetarian and vegan diets. Guests have found her food incredibly tasty, and she will definitely make you look good if you're hosting a party, dinner party, themed party, shower, what have you! Her service is top notch, she is flexible and generous in working with your schedule to make your event a success. I hired her to make several dishes after having a baby, so that my family/I didn't have to cook in the days after I came home from the hospital. This was so wonderful - convenient, delicious and nutritious foods for the family and visitors who stopped by. I highly recommend hiring Dish catering as a gift for a pregnant friend or family member, or even someone recovering from illness/surgery as the prepared food is healthy and easy to eat cold or heat up. Laura is AMAZING! I was throwing my husband a surprise 40th birthday party and I had no idea how I was going to feed 90 people without my husband finding out. Laura was my hero! I asked for appetizers and she came up with a fantastic menu - including little grilled cheese sandwiches with shots of tomato soup. Â Then she went above and beyond- she got details about my husband- what he likes, what he does for a living, and then she put personalized touches everywhere: pictures of him and things he loves on every tray, and on every little soup shot glass, and she even made cookies that said "Mike Rocks". She had to work out of a green room in a comedy club where we threw the party, but she and her server made it work beautifully. Everyone raved about her. Â She made me look good! If you are looking for a caterer that provides excellent customer service and amazing food-this is the place for you. We had a French theme and wanted the food to compliment the theme. We also wanted it to be very classy. Dish Catering more than exceeded our wildest expectations. The table looked great,  complete with Eiffel Tower center pieces. All the guests raved about the food. Dish Catering knows what they are doing! The food is always delicious and presented in a super chic way! They cater a LOT of small & large events and have the art down to a science! Their pricing is VERY reasonable and the quality FAR exceeds anyone's expectations. I've worked with Laura for the last several years and am always surprised by the amazing dishes she creates! Laura just catered my bridal shower this past weekend, and everything was just delicious!! All of the food was a surprise for me, and I loved EVERY item, from the adorably decorated sugar cookies and pie pops, to the gigantic meatball sliders and prosciutto-wrapped peaches. The food was yummy, creative, and made with love. Everyone at the shower was amazed by her work and SO excited that the cleanup would be easy since no one had to cook!
