We couldn't of had a better dj. He was everything we wanted and everyone at the party commented how good he and his music were. It was a difficult party to get the mix right owing to the fact it was a joint 60th and 90th birthday celebration. Booked Discosounds for our Xmas Party in December. Very helpful but have received no receipt for the deposit paid.

Receipp is given by the Paypal transaction report for the deposit. Plus you were sent a conformation of deposit received this was done by email. A full receipt is issued once the full payment has been received. Hi this is to confirm you have booked me for your event on 7th December 2018. Your BOOKING REF ID 14067-18 . Copies of the T&Cs are available for down load on the website which is an integeral part of the booking, as too the PLI and Pat certification. I had the best party ever celebrating my 30th and I couldn't have done it without Carl from Discosounds! Not only was his communication and reassurance brilliant throughout the planning stage, the music was awesome: everything I wanted.
I think it's fair to say my friends and family (of all ages) loved it as much as I did and the lights were perfect for setting the mood too.
I would 100% recommend Discosounds and it was an extremely pleasant experience all round having chosen this DJ.

We booked Discosounds for our 40th wedding anniversary party and were very pleased with the service provided. The DJ arrived well in advance of the start time and was in fact playing music before most guests arrived.
The music played was appropriate to the event and played at a level that still enabled people to chat without shouting. The DJ was very friendly and always willing to accommodate requests and announcements. Discosounds most certainly contributed greatly to the success of the evening and we would have no hesitation in using them again.

Carl was a great DJ . His communications before-hand were good - he always responded to emails straight away and we had several useful chats on the phone. As it was my 70th birthday party and I wanted only 70s music he sent me a play-list of 70s hits to choose from and I added some favourites of my own. He played them all and everyone said what a wonderful evening it was. He arrived early and played right through the evening from 7.00 to 11.30, starting off with slower numbers while we were eating, then playing the disco stuff for dancing. Very efficient arrived in good time to get organized was only a slight disappointment did not get to hear all my chosen songs even if they had perhaps been half played or remixed a bit in order to hear them all would have been nice.but very pleasant guy.

What’s the secret to keeping a party dancing all night long?
We compile client's playlists in advance to ensure the tunes wanted are ready on our system for guests to enjoy. We maintain an up to date music library, which allows guests to request music on the night. A quality sound system accompanied by a Smart set up.
How would you describe your ‘style’?
Professional approach to the clients needs, willing to discuss the event well in advance and set the client at ease. With over 25 years experience and a good knowledge of music. Originally started to DJ in 1964 with a twelve year break to carry out a responsible job in the City of London.
Toured with many bands and now famous legends when they first started out. Happy to work with live bands and other acts.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing client's and their guests enjoy the function. Travelling around the UK and Europe performing my disco services to a wide and varied cross section of age groups.
What inspired you to start your own business?
A continuation of years of experience, by adding the credit card payments this allows client's to enjoy the professional approach to their need of spreading the cost of the function. .
Why should our clients choose you?
25 years experience, having completed 100's of weddings and other festive gathering, receiving many complimentary testimonials. Being available 24/7 and contactable during the day as this is my main activity.
SILENT DISCO
This add on service can either be included at an extra cost to the original fee quoted. This is useful where clients wish to continue the party or function into the early hours where noise is an issue. PLEASE ASK FOR A QUOTATION.
