We hired chef joe this summer for a birthday dinner at a rental house in Westerly and had an amazing experience. He was a pleasure to work with from the very beginning. He provided great menu ideas, a fantastic dinner service and a spotless kitchen upon leaving. The Bruschetta was the best we've ever had and everyone raved about that Linguine ai Fruti de Mare made with fresh-caught seafood. 10 out of 10 would love to book another occasion with him. I live in Louisiana and was at my wit's end as to how to get better food and good nourishment in my dad. He had lost so much weight since I last saw him in RI this summer. I had used the food delivery service, but there is only so many limited things and restaurants in the area. It was his birthday and I wanted to send something special but didn't know where to turn. My wonderful friend, John Gordon, recommended Dinner by Josef, a personal friend of his. I called Joe and explained my situation and I lucked out. He wasn't particularly busy that day and jumped in with both feet. He whipped up a beautiful shrimp scampi with a Caesar salad to compliment it. He also went out of his way (something he normally hasn't got time to do as he has a busy delivery schedule) and got dad a wonderful pie from Gregg's. What more could I ask for?!? My dad was totally overwhelmed and they had enough for two meals. I have decided to keep him and the melange of meals that he brings are beside wonderful. I know they eat much better and healthier (oh, did I mention Joe is also a certified nutritionist). They love the food and can't wait for their weekly deliveries. If you have an elderly parent(s) in need of this special treatment, or just want a catered dinner party, or other service Joe offers, give him a shout. You truly will not be disappointed! More...

My name is Ralph and this will the second year we are having Chef Josef create another fabulous anniversary dinner for us in our home. His prices are extremely reasonable, and the quality of the food he produces in our kitchen is fantastic! For us it ends up being the same price or cheaper than going out to dinner, and it's in the comfort of our own home. He is really great to work with on a menu for our event, and he really goes all out to accommodate our needs. He comes in within budget costs or under budget cost, but does not skimp on the quality of the foid, or service to us as the customer. Definitely worth hiring for your next intimate or larger event. An intimate at-home four course dinner prepared by Chef Josef was a wonderful gift given to me by a dear friend. Â Chef Josef promptly returned my call and we selected an evening later the same week during which Chef Josef made some delicious suggestions for our dinner. Â My boyfriend and I decided on shrimp scampi which Chef Josef purchased fresh on the evening of our dinner. Â He accommodated our food preferences and prepared delicious stuffed mushrooms as a starter followed by an excellent salad dish. Â Chef Josef was prompt and delightful company, bringing his own cooking supplies and cleaning up by the time we were nearly finished with the scrumptious carrot cake he brought for dessert.The shrimp scampi was delicious and lemony which I love and I took a couple of photos. Chef Josef is the best! I contacted him last minute regarding cooking for a friends birthday dinner. Josef was kind and attentive and sent me over a request for a delicious Italian meal. Josef arrived at my house promptly, we gave him a quick tour of the kitchen and let him work his magic. I cannot tell you which part of the meal was my favorite because EVERYTHING Â was delicious. He prepared everything beautifully and with the freshest ingredients. He presented us with each course and cleaned as he worked.
