DIGmusic - Dave Inkster Guitar

My son has been going to Dave for 5 years & looks forward to his guitar lessons each week. This is largely due to Dave’s relaxed yet encouraging teaching style that ensures my son plays pieces he enjoys, while also achieving grades. The (optional) end of year student show has really helped boost my son’s confidence & Dave’s own skill and professionalism have inspired him to want to become a pro guitarist himself one day. Dave is personable, relates well to people, and he tailors the lessons to suit both what the student wants and what the student needs (always a good thing in a teacher). His manner would suit both adults and children. I thoroughly enjoyed my lessons, finding them useful and fruitful. I have stopped guitar lessons for now, but, when I start them up again, I can honestly say I'll be giving Dave a call to see whether he has space for me! More...

Dave’s really genuine and approachable. His teaching approach is a good match for my son’s learning style. He keeps his interest and enthusiasm while gently encouraging him to the level he can achieve. Highly recommend.
