Since I had been planning the wedding, Diego had been there from the beginning. Even through us having to postpone and get going again, he was there, so when it was the time of the big day and we finally got to meet, it was like having an old friend photograph the wedding! Diego was recommended to us. He was more expensive than other photographers we saw but after seeing his work we decided we would either spend the extra on him or just use our own photos. We're glad we spent the extra. Firstly he told a story through a photographic narrative that captured the day perfectly. Secondly he has an eye for capturing the emotion and feeling of the day and more importantly our guests, not an easy thing to do but he managed it perfectly. He was there from beginning to end. He took shots from all over our venue, from all angles. We saw other photographers who could not have physically done this. Diego himself is a nice guy and unassuming, this really counts on the day as a-lot of guests didn't realize he was taking pictures. lot of his shots are from afar/unusual angles and capture people and the emotion, giving vows etc, perfectly. Diego worked with us before and took our direction as to what shots we required but we left a large part of the day to him. We took the view that if you're going to spend a lot of money on the day you might as well spend a bit more and make sure you get the photographs that do your day justice. We couldn't have asked for more from Diego, he is a great photographer. We are very happy. We met before the wedding and he spent time finding out what we like. He also made a trip to the venue prior to the wedding, which shows his dedication to taking great photographs on the day. Diego's Photography was the best vendor decision we made for our wedding.He took our vision and ran with it. He captured all the little details that I worked so hard on. He got incredible shots with my husband and me.
He also were able to capture the special shots that we requested of family and friends (one of all 60 of our guests). We did not use a videographer, but feel that the slideshow they made us tells our wedding story. with wedding photography, I do believe you get what you pay for. You might find someone cheaper, but they will not be nearly as good. His rates are competitive.
He have lots of ideas for great pictures. He also put in a lot of work editing and doing some cool effects for the final pictures. I had absolutely no problems working with him and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to capture their once in lifetime moments.
